Your programs allows the kids to express themselves creatively

Our first time sending our daughter to summer camp this year and she absolutely loved it! All of the staff was so welcoming and kind to our daughter and made everyday so much fun. She always look forward to coming back. We will be signing up again next summer

The programs are well planned, organized, and staffed appropriately.

My child comes home daily talking about how amazing the camp program is. He loves each of the staff members and they also are so amazing anytime I need to speak with them directly.

The staff is awesome and intensive ,polite and my grandson loves going and always have good things to tell me..

I like that the children were engaged in the activities. I especially liked that my daughter would come home saying the prayer that they recited at the YMCA. I am grateful that home and church were not the only places that prayer was incorporated.

Keeps children active

They keep the children engaged each week with fun activities throughout the week as well as giving them the option to participate in weekly dress up to go along with the theme of the week. The themes are kid friendly and easily to participate in. My daughter has shown great improvement in swimming due to lessons she receives during the week and is always excited to come home and tell me about them. I love the confidence that has continued to be instilled in her each week that she participates.

My son has a blast I just wish staff would communicate better when it come to a child getting hurt I had to find out my tooth was knocked out when he got head butted by another kid when I came to pick him up and the tooth wasn’t even loose

Absolute great program.

My daughter was very happy with the entire camp. She enjoyed all of the activities from the first day to the last. She enjoyed being with the staff members as well.

Petersburg YMCA Day Camp has been amazing! The counselors have been attentive and my 4 and 10 year old girls have enjoyed all of the activities that have been available. In addition the Family Nights are a blast and the "color war" was truly a fun time!

My daughter has really enjoyed the activities and friends she has made. She is here visiting from out of state so it was good for her to have friends to play with and not be home and bored all summer. Thank you for keeping her busy.
