Why don’t you ask me what I don’t like I joined his facility just after his first opened and they didn’t accept my health insurance and I’ve been paying for it all these years. Well, they do accept my health insurance. I wish I got notified somehow I would’ve saved a lot of money.

My appreciation of the DeMakes YMCA is based on (1) the quality and quantity if its facilities, (2) the friendliness and competence of its staff, and (3) the diversity and friendliness of the members it attracts.
RE (1): I attend regularly MWF and follow a workout of my own design which engages 13 machines, the track, and the steam room. Should one of the machines be occupied I can always find another that exercises the same muscles.
RE (2): Never have I been refused when I've asked a staff member for assistance
RE (3): The camaraderie of the women and men with whom I share the facilities is outstanding.

Good teachers for the very helpful fitness classes, and personal trainers! The pool is great and now the new locker room and steam sauna is awesome. It's clean, friendly staff, great place!
I have a personal trainer and I couldn’t be happier. The gym is always immaculate and there is always a friendly atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to have more personnel on the floor. It is very difficult to have just one person watching the floor especially when they are conducting a training session.
The Spartan Club for the month of September ran incredibly smooth and the instructors did a great job of keeping the students engaged and parents informed. Thanks to all for a great month !!

I haven’t done any classes yet but I would love to. The gym in total is clean and I feel safe. The staff it’s amazing and knowledgeable.
Every thing good the gym have a lot of machines and the pool for my kids. One thing I didn't like the sonna is mixt I wish there separete for men and women.

The beginner swimming lessons pack a lot of punch. There are great instructors there to guide you through getting comfortable in the water to breathing exercises, all the way to learning how to get the fundamentals of swimming strokes down. Brendan and Sarah are phenomenal at their job, breaking down each part of learning a stroke in a way that is easy to understand and put into practice. Excellent work!
