My son has been attending Mathnasium for over a year. I sought out a math extracurricular for elementary age children when my son started teaching himself multiplication in the first grade and complained about not having enough math and science in school.

Steven, the Center Director, is engaging, communicative, and always cheerful. He has taught my son math games and provided recommendations for activity books I could purchase for my son.

Our 3rd grade daughter has always struggled with math facts, but the school didn't have anyone to help her. So we were referred to Mathnasium. I worried that my daughter would look at math tutoring as a negative, but she doesn't! Steven and the team make her feel special, and - while she isn't a math "fan" yet - she really enjoys going to Mathnasium. There is so much positive reinforcement, and she doesn't feel the need to compare herself with anyone else because there are so many different age groups present. She feels completely free to learn at her own pace, and this lets her build confidence while she progresses in the right direction. Steven is also great at keeping us informed about what she's doing and is a great cheerleader when she masters a skill. I am really very happy we chose Mathnasium Nashua!

Math is fun at Mathnasium and my child likes attending her weekly sessions. We have also seen some gains in her math grades.
