I cannot say enough about how much the Bryan YMCA has done for my daughter’s confidence. From the moment she joined, the support and care she received made an immediate difference. She walks into the Y with her head held higher, feeling seen, encouraged, and capable and that growth has everything to do with the incredible staff.
If it weren’t for Stuart and Walker, I genuinely don’t know what I or so many other members would do. Their positivity, patience, and dedication go far beyond what anyone could expect. They create an environment where kids feel safe to push themselves, try new things, and believe in their own potential. Watching my daughter flourish with their support has been one of the most meaningful experiences for our family. As well as the Coaches and their dedication to our community.
The Bryan YMCA isn’t just a gym it’s a community that lifts people up. And for that, I am truly grateful.

Yoga! Diane Coad is the best instructor who teaches correct form and poses with clear explanations.
i use silver sneakers, the pool, and the treadmill - and the people have been unfailingly friendly and
i also appreciate the diversity of patrons - that is a real plus for me
I love swimming in the lap pool. There's great availability of lanes. Also, I love Saturday morning body pump--John is awesome! I wish you could get a new set of weights, though (similar to Spears). It's very disorganized.
The teachers are excellent. They understand human anatomy and appropriate exercise for their students. They are great motivators. Our classes are fun.
The showers are clean, with plenty of hot water. The locker room is pleasant after last year’s renovation. A couple of weeks ago a woman Tim
asks to come through the women’s area to check on problems came while plenty of women were there. That’s a great idea.
Chris, I’m aware of your hard work on the entire pool/aquatics program, and your kindness and talent for listening to the members. It’s all much better than it’s ever been.
I love the aqua aerobics classes! It’s fun and efficient! I like the coach and her professional guidance on how to workout. I never thought it’s possible to sweat in the water but now I know!
