I’ve only been a member for a week so my experience is limited, but so far I just enjoy the atmosphere. I also love the cleanliness and the variety of activities offered.

Achievable results. Good instruction. Friendly staff.

All the resources provided there. My favorite is the steam room. I don’t have as much time as I would like. But if I did. I tell everyone about all the classes. I got a friend of mine to sign up a couple of weeks ago. The weight room is awesome. Massage I heard is awesome. The availability to get personal training. I think it’s the best kept secret in town. Don’t forget about the price…,,,,

Lots of different classes with great instructors. Especially love Fabian and Nina. Also love the family- friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Swim lessons

I am hoping to see another exercise class in the early morning time slot (around 5:30 or 5:45). A bootcamp perhaps? Or a boxing/kickboxing class (I saw the tower stands in one of the exercise rooms). OR, I would LOVE to see a Kettlebell class in the morning (or even early evening - 4:30 or 5:00 p.m..

I'd like to give recognition to Morgan Perceval. She coordinates the Rock Steady Boxing program for Parkinson's patients. She goes out of her way to create class agendas that both challenges and teaches the class to deal with the symptoms of the disease. She is always discovering innovative ways to push us to maintain or improve balance, strength, and endurance. For example, she introduced Pickle Ball. A bunch of Parkinson's patients hitting a Wiffle ball over the net and actually playing games! It was good for everyone's hand eye coordination.

She makes everyone feel important. If someone is struggling with or can't do an exercise, she will work with them to modify the exercise or do another with the same benefit. She'll take time to extend class to ensure all material is covered for those who wish to stay.

Recently she needed a leave of absence, during which she created class plans for substitute trainers to use as a guide to continue the class focus.

Morgan is a very innovative trainer and goes out of her way to provide a valuable service in teaching Parkinson's patients how to cope.

I misplaced my weight lifting belt inside the facility. Jen Beres the Wellness Director walked me around the entire space to ensure I could find my equipment. Right before I gave up hope and was about to order another $50 piece of equipment she managed to locate it due to its color scheme and design.

I did check online for Labor Day hours and there was nothing indicating closure, nor on phone message for hours. Drove to the Y to find it was closed. Would be helpful to have outgoing message and website inform community of holiday closures.

Fabienne is awesome, without her I would not be at the Y. Unless I went swimming all the time.

I have only been a member of the Bear Levin YMCA for a couple of weeks, but I already love it! I mostly go there to workout in the gym upstairs, but I have used to pool with my husband and nine year old and it was so much fun! The kid zone is great for my daughter when I workout and there is so many other things I haven’t had a chance to do yet and I can’t wait to try them all.
Great place, very friendly staff and also very clean.
So happy to be a member!!
