I love how it feels that I’m away from “normal life”and escaped to a real spa experience. I don’t like the acrylic nail smell at so many places. I want to smell lemongrass and have someone hand me a drink - something I can find at your establishment.

What did you like most about your salon experience?

The Van Davis Aveda salon at Thruway Center is a lovely, welcoming place, where you are at ease the moment you walk in. It does not feel overly privileged or cliquish as some Aveda salons I have experienced. Chris is my stylist, and he is just fabulous! All of the staff and stylists are friendly, professional and seem very happy to be part of the culture of this location.

Staff was very friendly! Even though I was a few minutes late they still asked if I wanted some water or tea, which I know is so small but really made a difference in how I felt walking in there. Salons have always made me feel dumb - which is why I’ve opted for cutting my own hair for the past 4 years. But seriously this place made me feel so welcome. Kara, my stylist, came out to greet me with such a warm smile and it really put me at ease.

The facial by Bridget was out of this world. I've had a few in my day and she tops them all! I've told several people about it already.
Gabby did my eyebrows and hair and I was very satisfied. She seemed to know exactly what I wanted. This package was a birthday gift and one of the best I've ever received. Thank you for a marvelous experience!
