I have now been to Lure several times. Usually the experience is excellent. Above average at its worst. The kitchen and the bar both do fantastic obviously not every server is perfect. Several foodie friends speak of Optimist, Lure is HANDS DOWN better on every option of quality. You are becoming my go to spot in midtown.

The hostess who took my reservation was very personable, both on the phone and when we arrived at the restaurant. Our server, A.J., I believe, was wonderful and the food was exceptional. This was my second visit to Lure, but it won't be my last.

Oddly, the only two times I've been here I've had the same server. I think the food is a much needed welcome to Atlanta. Not coated in butter, so you can actually taste the seafood.
As usual, great food and vibe at a Fifth Group restaurant.
We enjoyed the change in the recipe for the mussels. Salmon crudo was excellent.
And the clam chowder was some of the best I've had in Atlanta
Great vibe is set by the lighting (dim but not too dark) and good music (but not too loud so you can't chat with your friends). And the best strawberry shortcake I've had in years!
