I like the atmosphere and the food. I've really enjoyed some delicious dinners and lunches at Lure. This past Saturday, I was there for Brunch. I didn't think the menu nor the food was particularly good, certainly not at the level of a weekday lunch. Maybe the menu for Brunch should be reviewed.
The items we ordered we well prepared and interesting. We really enjoyed our entrees.

We enjoyed the decor...modern nautical- very nice. The food presentation & flavor (octopus, chowdah, salmon), the unique cocktails (micha caliente...YUM!) and best of all was the excellent service. Our waitress rocked it.

I like the service, ambience and food. I didn't love the beet salad I ordered, however. It was small compared with the other salad I've had at your restaurant and I didn't like the flavors. I chalk that up to my not ordering well.

Superb salads & entrees. Dessert was so-so. Overall it exceeded our expectation.

Each dish we ordered was excellent, but the smoked appetizer platter with scallops was a unique twist on a classic. The sauteed sole was absolutely perfect! One of the best fish dishes I've had. The man at the table beside us said the same thing about the whole trout he was enjoying.

Great atmosphere. Noise well managed as we could still talk meal without shouting and the experience still felt intimate.
Our server was outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable about the food meu and leaps and bounds above average with the wine. She made excellent recommendations.
