I got a massage with Amanda. Holy moly. That was the best massage of my life. She’s so accommodating and genuinely made me feel so comfortable. I’m pregnant and in a lot of pain and she worked literal magic on my back. I couldn’t move it when I came in. I actually called my husband crying in the car because of the relief I felt afterwards. Will 1000% be coming back to Amanda and I’ve already recommended her to multiple family, friends and clients of my own.
I liked the whole experience, from the tea before my haircut to the nice reclining seats and the massage after the hair wash and the nice styling that I got after the haircut.

I must say that what I like most about my salon experience is my hair dresser Chandra. I've been seeing her for around 20 years and will never change. She knows me and my hair almost better than I do and I trust her implicitly with it.
Also, the ladies at the front desk help make the whole experience awesome, from their friendly personalities to knowing my name when I walk in the door.
Overall, as I've already said, I will never change salons!

This was my first visit with Natural Alternatives. I received a 30 minute deep tissue massage. The massage therapist, Amanda, was excellent. She asked good questions to help me get the most out of my massage. She concentrated on my problem area and I left there feeling so much better. It appeared that i was their last client leaving, but that didn't change how I was treated. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting from the moment I walked in through the moment I left

I look forward to my monthly massage starting the day after I have it. Amanda has serious skills and a great memory! I never thought I would fit massage therapy into my budget as a regular part of my wellness journey, but I have found that regular visits to Aveda/Amanda have helped my overall wellness so much that I am spending less money elsewhere. At the chiropractor, my adjustments are sticking in place longer due to holding less tension so I have needed to go less, saving me about $45 per visit or about $90 a month. I basically just traded 15 minutes at a rushed chiropractic office, twice a month for an hour long visit in the most peaceful environment in Knoxville with a therapist who has magic hands and remembers my problem areas. The money is SO worth it! She really honed in on my neck issues and works out all the tight spots. Once a month is enough to keep me from having a major problem from accumulative tightness. I sleep the best sleep after my session! I would highly recommend Amanda and Aveda salon to anyone. I know Amanda has extensive experience with elderly clients and that totally checks out, because she is such a kind, calm, and wise person who is highly conscientious. I’m 37 but I consider this therapy “age management” to help me age better. Thanks, Amanda! You’re the best!
I always feel spoiled when I come to the Western Plaza location 🙂 I was just in for a haircut but I feel taken care of every time. Christina is such a joy to talk to and she really listens to what I want. The receptionists are always super friendly and offer me a drink right after I check in every time, even if I'm only there for a little bit. Love your salon! 10☆
Ruthie, does a great job of listening to you and trying to understand what you want! She also gives the greatest head massage when shampooing! I love the Aveda products, especially the highlights. Aveda’s products don’t damage my hair like other bleaches do.
