The technician saud the charge in the AC was 20 lbs low. When I asked what it should he said it varies. I was expecting a much more specific answer.
I like the option of bringing my filter in on a Saturday (off work hours for me) to have it replaced versus ordering filters online and changing my own filters. I would like to have a reminder sent to me via email about my service contract (expiring after five years this October I believe), on my new furnace from standard Heating & Air Conditioning. I am quite sure other customers would appreciate this type of reminder so that we can have a last service checkup prior to our contract expiring. Also, it would remind us that we may want to research a continuing contract option with your company or from others i.e., CenterPoint Service Plus, etc.
My first call was to another company. It took them one week to tell me it would be another week. When i called Standard, they showed up in under an hour. He was knowledgeable and fast. I paid a little more than expected, however I agreed to fix everything he suggested. He was not a pushy salesman, I just agreed that what he told me was a necessary repair. In the long run, I believe that I will save money.
The technician did a nice job looking at our furnace and air-condioner. He was very informative. He explained what our futures holds with these 2 appliances. Thanks again.

Work to find leak while working until almost 7:00 PM, even if not able to definately locate the leak. Willingness to reschedule later to return with couple employee to better locate potential leak.
The guy seemed to know what he was talking about, and he was very polite and efficient.

We have just purchased our first product (air conditioner). We had a choice of models from two top manufacturers to choose from and our salesman, Jeff, was extremely helpful.
Your employees really make a difference! Paul has been doing annual maintenance for two years and is prompt, friendly and good at what he does. We just met Jeff yesterday and he's another great guy. The people who answer the phone make us feel like we're dealing with family!
Readily available even though not a true emeregency. Friendly guys (one 7/24 and another 7/25) with helpful hints. When calling for an appt. I requested a new thermostat, but it was not mentioned by the service guys, and I decided against it and did not inquire further about it. Altogether it was a good experience, and already the house is cool!
You tell me what it will cost before hand. You respect my home by puting on boot covers. You showed me what needs fixing and what can wait, saving me money.

Jason was extremely knowledgable, considerate, thorough and polite! He educated me on my air conditioner, didn't try to persuade me to perform unnecessary maintenance and showed me how to clean off the unit. Upon leaving he said, "thanks for calling us", which showed me he is proud to work for Standard...you should be proud to have him, too! Thank you!
