Customer Testimonials
Overall VERY pleased with the DJ services provided by complete weddings. The only thing that could be improved upon is the communication- The phone number provided on emails and websites was non-operational.
Tara as our event coordinator was wonderful. She took care of everything so we could enjoy the wedding.

I cannot express enough how positive my experience was with Complete Weddings and Events. From my initial consultation, I immediately felt at ease—so much so that I booked all of my services on the spot. I opted for day-of coordination, DJ, uplighting, photo booth, photography, and videography. The process was incredibly stress-free; I didn’t need to worry about coordinating details and timelines with multiple vendors. They handled everything seamlessly, with most of my communication going through my coordinator, Sarah, and my photographer, Christine.
After booking, I filled out a detailed questionnaire on their website, which made the follow-up consultations with my assigned vendors quick and efficient. As our big day approached, the weather forecast wasn’t looking good. Our venue, Grace River Island Resort in Fort Myers, was chosen specifically for its beautiful outdoor amenities, but Hurricane Debby had other plans. Unfortunately, everything had to be moved indoors.
Though this was disappointing, Sarah and Christine kept me calm and reassured, offering multiple backup plans just days before the wedding. In the end, we had to go with Plan C, which was far from what I had imagined. Despite the drastic changes, I felt surprisingly calm, thanks to their thorough planning and support. They flawlessly executed last-minute adjustments, making sure the day was still special.
Although my original timeline went out the window, they made everything work, and I ended up having a beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Due to the weather, we couldn’t take as many photos as I’d hoped, but Christine even offered to arrange another session on a sunnier day to capture the shots I wanted. Her dedication to making my wedding dreams come true was remarkable—she spent over 10 hours with me, making sure I felt comfortable and supported the entire time.
Sarah, I can’t thank you enough for managing the chaos of my day with such grace. Our DJ, Cherale, was outstanding and kept the energy alive throughout the reception. Martin, the videographer, was incredibly professional, capturing all the key moments without ever being intrusive. And Caasi, the photo booth attendant, was a hit with our guests, bringing great energy to the event.
Thank you Complete Weddings + Events for making my wedding day unforgettable!
Caden our dj was great! He kept in contact with us the whole time and made the night go very smooth! He even was dancing with the crowd as the night went on! So fun!
Our Dj was truly the master of ceremonies!! He did a great job working with us from the mother son dances to the song selection. He ran a 50/50 pot and made sure everyone felt included throughout the night. Great work Todd!! We would recommend him for any party.
Cheeto ran the Photo Booth and also did a great job. We had a lot of guests complementing him. He was very helpful and we got some great pictures!! Overall it was a great experience and excellent customer service. Thank you guys!!
It was super easy to hire a DJ through Complete Weddings + Events! The communication was excellent throughout the process and I really appreciated all the care and attention given towards my wedding.
Thank you Scott for contacting me. I appreciate your professionalism, questions, and explanations. As we discussed when I first contacted you, the DJ and dance were number one top priority for my son the groom (Jeff). As the wedding day neared, I assured him an experienced DJ was requested, and the DJs are trained to work the crowd and play music the guests will enjoy. Brooke (the bride) and I filled out the online forms and created a two page itinerary containing a timetable of the reception, dance, and general information, submitting it to Tara via email who confirmed its reception. In addition, at Jeff's insistence, Jeff and Brooke submitted a list of songs to be played and asked that limited requests be taken from our guests (Jeff feared lame songs would be played and nobody would be dancing).
I wish to state Emily was professional, energetic, and very approachable. She noted there was reference in the online form to attachments with explanations, but she had not received them. I had a copy in my car, gave her the two page attachment (not fully updated), and told her whatever she finalized with the bride/groom was priority. Emily then worked the crowd, was helpful clearing plates at the head table, and was genuinely friendly toward all at the reception. The main problem: the crowd could not hear or understand her. From the steps in the middle of the room to the back bar area, nobody could understand what she was saying. In the area near the steps we could begin picking up some of her words. One had to be fairly close to the speakers to understand Emily's words. She did a sound check early on by asking "Who can hear me?" a couple times. Guests from the steps to the bar didn't respond; the ones on the lower floor near the steps signified they were having trouble hearing. Emily decided to keep the party rolling which was what she needed to do. I figured the sound equipment or the room itself was causing the problem. I should have brought it to her attention and suggest that she slow down her words and enunciate. I missed the kid's first dance and missed the start of the cake cutting because I was greeting guests at their tables in the bar area and couldn't hear the announcements.
Emily did a fabulous job assisting with the wedding march. She kept it going and it continued for 15 minutes or so. She helped direct people who didn't know which way to go. Again, I missed the wedding march line up since I was assisting in attaining supplies for the bathrooms up in the bar area and didn't hear the announcement. The line up was complete and the march had already begun by the time Bill (my husband) and I joined in. Even though we were towards the end of the line, we had fun and were surprised how it didn't break up like it often does. I thank our wedding march leaders and Emily for its completion.
Emily did great in honoring the bride's request to have the wedding march lead right into the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances with all guests joining in. The dance floor was full which was exactly what the couple wanted. The Anniversary Dance came shortly afterwards. Kenny Rogers "Through the Years" was requested for the Anniversary Dance. It was a special request due to events in our family. Unfortunately another song was played, I believe it was Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers, disappointing.
At this point Emily began playing various 80s genre. There was very limited dancing. I was becoming somewhat frustrated but didn't wish to say anything. We had a room full of dancers, who wanted to dance, and a few who were trying. I was trying to get people out on the floor to dance. I didn't say anything until Jeffrey, the groom, approached me and stated "Nobody is dancing" which was a great frustration to him. I then approached Emily stating she had to change the genre. She was receptive, switched to the shoe game, and played a few country songs afterwards to which the dance floor filled. The music switched back to the other genre upon which the dance floor emptied. She would then switch back or play a line dance and it would fill again. After talking with you Scott, I realize Emily was trying to play songs on Jeff and Brooke's list. I understand Emily was sensitive to this, yet, generally, the traditional "wedding dance" songs where all the guests join in are played the first two to three hours of the dance, then specific songs are played after that. Jeff's list was made primarily because he wanted the dance floor full, he didn't care if all his songs were played. I believe we should have communicated this better to Emily.
Several times throughout the evening, my guests approached me and stated they had requested songs but they were not being played. Knowing Brooklyn stated limited requests be taken, I walked the guests over to Emily and she honored the request since I was there. Again, she was respectful and was just honoring what the bride/groom originally requested. If I had to do it over again, I would have informed Jeff, and he would have told Emily to start honoring requests made by the guests.
Towards the end of the evening family and friends offered to help clean up. We started loading the trucks during the last hour of the dance. Emily (rightfully so) told all the clean-up help to leave. I didn't know what was going on, and only saw that all my help was leaving. I later apologized to Emily. I didn't know about a midnight dance. Frankly I just knew I was exhausted from caregiving for my father who died two days earlier, I had a houseful of company to feed tomorrow, and I needed to get all the decorations loaded up that night before I traveled to my father's funeral. Please, I want Emily to know that the midnight dance meant a great deal to the bride. She loved it. Thank you for being persistent in making it happen.
So, in my first evaluation I did not have all the details from Complete Weddings/Events. I just knew that either due to the sound system or the building, half our guests couldn't hear the music or the DJs announcements. I knew I missed out on the first dance, the cake cutting, and the wedding march line up because I was unable to hear the announcements. I knew the DJs words were muffled and my guests couldn't understand her. And, lastly, I couldn't understand why the DJ kept returning to a genre nobody was dancing to. I was happy to receive a call from Scott with an explanation. Fortunately, I was able to keep the bride and groom oblivious to these hiccups; they totally enjoyed themselves, and Emily's energy and enthusiasm was contagious. As I stated above, there are things I would have done differently. My suggestion to Emily would be to check the sound in all areas of the room when the room is full, enunciate and slow down your speech if you note people are not responding, and trust your instincts as DJ (if the dance floor is filled, you are playing the right stuff). In our case, as in most cases, the bride and groom just want the guests to have fun and dance, its not about their general song list, its the mood of the party. Since the venue of Dolce Vita in Ellis is a fairly new one, it might behoove Complete Weddings/Events to check out how to create a better sound within the building and work with Guy on complementing the sound.
Thank you for contacting me, clarifying, and allowing me to clarify. Emily, I appreciate your work, and realize some things were beyond your control. I do sincerely thank you, and absolutely love your energy level and enthusiasm as a DJ. That alone will take you far.
I always hate ratings, but everyone seems to ask for them. Complete Weddings/Events is rated at 9/10, and Emily is now 8/10 knowing, in a few years, it will be 10/10. Thanks again. Sincerely, Name removed
Friendly staff, Eric the videographer that was with me and my bridesmaids was awesome at getting everything we wanted. Dj Brett was great energy and made sure to check in with me and my husband to make sure we were enjoying the music. Everyone loved our photobooth as well!
Crickett was an AMAZING DJ on our wedding day. From start to finish. She helped coordinate so much from speeches, cake cutting, and music of course. Thank you complete weddings & Crickett!❤️

Our DJ Harper was amazing, she was able to keep the crowd going. She was very helpful and was very kind!
We used DJ and Videography services through Complete. Our videographer Nick, got all the great shots without needing much assistance and direction. I can’t wait to see our wedding video! We recieved many compliments from our guests about our DJ, Austin. We had guests on the dance floor the whole night! We could not have asked for more out of our services with Complete Wedding and Events.
Wonderful service and very friendly staff! We love our photo memory book! Thank you!
ANDREW IS AWESOME! Setup and preparation was an easy process - absolutely no doubt or confusion! Communication was great the entire time. Andrew made our lives easy.
Very responsive in communication, open about pricing, offer a complete package for weddings, very familiar with venues and vendors. Overall a great experience.
DJ got the songs mixed up for the grand entrances, not a huge deal. Photographer was great to work with, a few desired photos missed but the time flew by! Again, not a huge deal.
We were fortunate enough to have Ross as our DJ in Duluth, MN and he was wonderful!! He took cues very well, was professional, and kept the party going! Ross went way above and beyond for us and saved the day by bringing some fans (it was a hot venue)!! He was so attentive to us and our needs and the needs of the wedding party. We had so much fun and we would highly recommend Ross to anyone looking for a fun DJ for their party.
Thank you, Ross!!!

We were very pleased with DJ Chewy. He was awesome! He was very attentive to our music requests and those of our guests. We appreciate Jinelle's assistance with the groom's parents. She was helpful when translation was needed and always made sure they were taken care of. The photo booth was a hit—thank you, Paris! Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you!
I loved the personality of the DJ and photographer! Both were able to keep guests engaged and really had a vision for what we wanted on our wedding day. We had ideas but not a vision and they were able to capture it very nicely for us
My DJ was pure entertainment all night! The guest interaction was incredible! He only played bangers and our included our special dances and favorite songs.
He also acted as a wedding planner, which is something I did not have, and facilitated every part of our night. We catered to my husband and I so well. We used DJ Fox (DJ the DJ ;)) and loved everything about him! I can't recommend complete wedding and events enough!
COURTNEY WAS GREAT!!!!
Bailey was awesome!
We had our photographer, videographer, DJ, and Day of Coordinator through complete and that was an excellent decision. Because all four were through complete, it made coordination easy and we didn't have to do much of anything the day of our wedding! The Day of Coordinator Chewy and the photographer Jason kept everything on track and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If we did it all again, we would definitely still choose to use Complete.
Amazing company. We used their DJ services and they did a great job pairing us with a DJ who perfectly fit with our taste in music and reception.
The communication and eagerness to accommodate our requests.
Jo was so wonderful as our photographer!
Thank you so much to Zach!

Our DJ kept the party so much fun!!
