I checked our daughter's progress today in the binder and I am quite impressed.
I like that she has already worked on a range of topics. I also noticed that she is beyond arithmetic and does more advanced things. In my opinion, mathematics is not doing multiplication, subtraction, division, addition and all of these on paper (this can be done by a calculator) but working with graphs, equations, symbols etc. I am pleased that Poppy is moving into this direction quite rapidly.
It would be great to occasionally receive an email with information on how she is doing.

Am so happy with the support and responsiveness of staff. Whenever I send them tests or assignments from school that weren't as successful they will review it, till my child masters it. My child's confidence level has increased and the teacher at school is also so happy with his progress. Wish I had started earlier.

While we haven't been with Mathnasium long, their entire approach has reduced the stigma associated with their challenges with math. It's made my kids feel comfortable and safe, improving their whole attitude with math which means everything. Math has always been hard to support at home and learning from parents was stressful for both parties. Having teachers at Mathnasium give support tailored to where my kids are at has been helpful and despite my kids challenges with math, the team of teachers make it a positive and supportive environment with a rewards system that seem to resonate well and motivate my kids in the right way. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress as we continue work through Mathnasium
My child has been at Mathnasium for 1 month now. They are happy and in good spirits after every session. When they speak of math and math topics, they are sounding more confident and I even heard them say "that's so easy" in regards to some math questions. We are elated with Mathnasium. We came from Kumon in Cedar Cottage, and it was a huge struggle and none of us were happy about the situation. We are so glad we made the switch!

I am very happy with the approach Mathnasium takes, i.e. breaking up the work into manageable pieces (topocs) and celebrating completion of a topic.
Teachers have engaged my child and he seems to be learning. He also seems to enjoy the method of instruction which is great. My only concern is retention and I wish we would either get a page of homework (optional) or to see their binder so we could practice at home.
Mathnasium has been a great help for my daughter and has helped relieve a lot of stress she had from school in general.

Teachers and staff members in North Vancouver team are highly professional and helpful. Firstly, I really like the scheduling sytem that is controlled by parents which is really convenient. And Mathnasium also sends updates and notifications on what studies my child has completed and what studies my child will be learning through an email. And lastly, this academy does not give any assignment and focuses on the deep learning during the session. And due to this system, my child does not have to bring anything before visiting the academy. and another reason why I really like this system is my child used to get stress due to a heavy assignment from the previous academy. Now, my child is always excited to visit Mathnasium. I am highly recommended to all parents who are seeking to find a good math academy.
Most importantly, my daughter goes happily and never makes excuses to skip. The care, dedication, and attention they show toward her development mean a great deal to me. I truly appreciate their efforts and would warmly recommend this math program to other families.
