Would really like more open swim times sometimes cannot get a lane and it is really hard for me to share a lane as I swim on my back a lot
We use twin rivers YMCA for swimming lessons after previously having a not great experience at a different non-YMCA children's swimming facility. The twin rivers YMCA has been so excellent. They have small class sizes and while all the kids are working on the same techniques, it is still individualized to each child's ability. My children now love swimming lessons and cannot wait to attend each week. They are also making such huge strides in their swim confidence and technique even in just 6 weeks time.

Family like atmosphere with staff that care
Love the classes and the instructors!! But to continue to push members in their fitness goals, more equipment is needed!! Heavier dumb bells in the group fitness studio!!
And it would be awesome to remind members that they are not the only ones in group fitness classes. The constant chatter in small groups, singing and constant talk from some in attendance is distracting not only for the other participants but I am sure it is also for the instructors. And it is just rude really!! It is hard to hear the instruction and focus on a workout and I would hate for someone to get hurt just because they couldn't hear the instructions due to one participating feeling the need to make unnecessary comments.

Community and family. The Y in Valley makes you feel relaxed and not judged with lots of programs if you chose to participate. Also great equipment to achieve all levels of workout at a great price.

The director Renee is so wonderful with the kids. Very attentive to each child’s needs and skills. I highly recommend her and the Y to anyone asking.
work out area is well organized and clean
Everything and everyone. The instructors for adult exercise classes are amazing, the staff is so friendly and the aquatics director, Renee goes above and beyond. The team sports gives every kid an opportunity to play and excel. The Twin Rivers YMCA is a huge asset to our community.
