Our coach was excellent with the kids.
Coach Jay and Coach Tom are phenomenal! I would highly recommend these coaches to any family or friends. I do think it takes good, knowledgable coaches to make this program successful. The year prior we dropped out due to the lack of knowledge in of the coach, but that was in Gretna their first year. Other than that the Y programs have been amazing.
Affordable and local. Some of the coaches can learn that it is about giving each kid a chance!!
Soccer was fun for my granddaughter as well as coaches were excited about the sport !
The best and most family friendly.
Affordability, skill building, and the refs are all super nice
supportive and loved the coaches!
It a chance for kids to play a sport and socialize with other children. It teaches kids the importance of sportsmanship and basic skills.
They treat the coaches with a ton of respect and show appreciation for our time and commitment to these kids.
We love volleyball program and our coach Ms. Amy Donner. The only regret - it doesn't continue in summer and winter.
In summer the only sports YMCA offers are outdoor...we tried once a 3 days soccer camp in July...the temperature was 104, it was terrible, so never again.
I like how inclusive the teams and coaches are. My daughter really has had a great experience.
A focus on team-building, teamwork, healthy competition, and we like the YMCA creed that is recited before each event - help keep the focus in mind.
I love that parents volunteer for sports activities, to coach and assist and its very family orientated and organized.
We have had a fantastic experience in YMCA sports - this season in flag football has been no exception. Tom is always so great and intentional about keeping our kids together with their friends from daycare and that means a lot. The site supervisor/support is great with this age/kindergarten and communication has been on point event with a special event at the location and being aware of parking in advance. Appreciate all you do for so many!
The coach was great with the boys, he was firm and understanding. He taught basics, rules and drills to learn the game.
My daughter (1st grade) played volleyball through the YMCA this spring and absolutely loved it! It was fun to see her grow with the different skills drills that the coaches brought to each practice. The referees at the Saturday games were wonderfully supportive of the kids as they continued to practice their skills. I'm really happy with the growth that my daughter showed as a player and teammate this spring. We will very likely sign up for the next available session that fits our family's schedule.

I need the exercise the pool gives me. I hope to try some other classes or the machines. I have had lots of health problems this past year, and the pool is a must for me. Linda Coffman
All of the group classes have wonderful teachers!

Very clean facility staff are nice and friendly.
Aqua classes and silver sneakers
I like the silver sneakers classes.
It’s a great value for money program. Teachers are great, and YMCA has a great pool.

Armbrust is an incredible community! They have the best instructors, and offer programs for everyone!
Great instructors, friendly staff and clean facility.
I would like to find a class like low impact aerobics that Jackie teaches at the Southwest location on Tues mornings at 8:15. Any chance of including something like that during the day?
Everything! They are very inclusive, friendly, and non- judgemental. Such a great and healthy experience every time I am there, which is as much as possible. Thank you for all of you! First name removed
