My daughter enjoyes socializing with the other children and the activities that are planned. I would like to see security procedures become more consistent.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

My daughter has attended the after-school care program at Shady Grove YMCA for her third year now. We love the site director Amber, and her assistant director Nick. The entire staff for the program are friendly and genuinely care about my child and make sure she goes on time to her swim team practice. I always feel comfortable talking with the staff and can ask any questions I may have without any hesitation.

The on-site Busy Bee room is great for my three-year-old. She gets excited to go and we have an easy drop off. The staff are always friendly and interact well with her. She is engaged the entire time and usually is slow to leave. I know they take good care of her which makes it easier to work out while there. I know she is happy.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

The people are caring, and have such awesome bonds with the kids. Nick especially is absolutely amazing- my son looks forward to going just so he can see him!

I love that they have plenty of outside play time after being cooped up in school all day. It's so good for them and wears them out for bedtime. The snacks are also always healthy, which is hard to come by at childcare facilities.

Friendly and helpful staff. The staff engages with my two children and they love attending the Y after-school program seven days a week.

The child care staff is amazing! They make my daughter feel valued and special. As a parent, I know my daughter is receiving quality after school care while also having a great time .

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

Great staff, very friendly and my girls both love there counselors. The convenience of being able to participate in activities (piano lessons and Tae Kwon Do) at the YMCA is great.
