It was our first time there and we were amazed at the facilities and how kid friendly it was. Our 4 year old loved parents night out. We appreciated the kid to teacher ratio being low!!!

My only complaint is that you don’t have any ellipticals on the third floor. The bball gym is EXTREMELY LOUD when there are 25 basketballs being bounced 10 feet from the elliptical and a buncha people screaming, or 50 kids packed in there. I have to turn my earbuds all the way up just to hear what’s on it, and even the noise is so loud that I often cant hear music. Unpleasant! Really makes me wonder why I’m $54 per month when I could go work out in a gym with a healthy volume for $8 per month.

The staff there r all so nice Friendly n very professional , also bc the Areobotics (Marietta ) teacher is the best , she’s experienced n gives the seniors a great But Careful work-out each week !! The. Building I noticed is Allways clean too my only complaint is the parking !! There’s an empty lot behind the building with no cars but the gate is locked we as seniors hv no place to park the city has recently blocked off a lot of Spots too that were usable it’s terrible and the work trucks too take up several parking spots I have driven around for at least 30 min or longer !! But overall the Boll Y is a great place n I love it

The customer service was awesome and I love that they have so many varieties of things that you can do there and you also can bring the young ones with you and the people are so sweet and nice

What I like best about my Y experience are the classes, the awesome instructors, and the Y community members. It would be nice to have additional group fitness classes and longer pool hours to be added to the current schedule. Overall, the Boll YMCA is still a great place to train and workout.
Community and quality group classes
I love the sense of community I have from the Y. Not only do I get a great workout in with all of the available equipment and classes, but I feel connected to the other Y members, Y staff, and larger Detroit community through supporting and joining such a great organization.
Great people, supports an important cause, very good value for exercise, good for all of us!
