Our daughter was struggling in math and viewed herself as being "bad in math" and we really wanted to change her view as well as strengthen her skills. Michael worked with us in an effort to provide a plan that allows her to build skills at an appropriate pace that makes sense to her and does not cause stress. As a result, we have seen a more positive attitude towards math and it is making "sense". She is making more connections and we see the progress. She LOVES going to her sessions and has consistently spoken positively about the instructors. We would definitely recommend Mathnasium to other families.

Mathnasium has done exactly what we had hoped for - (1) allowed our daughter to catch up in math with her classmates, and (2) instilled in her a confidence that she can do math! Our daughter who usually is so good at picking things up quickly that she puts her mind to, was really struggling with math, and it was clear from speaking to her teacher at the end of 2nd grade that she was falling behind her classmates. Her inability to "get it" led to her doubting herself and self-fulfilling prophesies. It took a few months, but she is exactly where we hoped she would be.

I have seen a boost in confidence in my daughter and she enjoys going to each session although she was not very excited about starting tutoring at the beginning. Everyone is always very helpful and very realistic in the goals she needs to meet.
Chris and his staff are amazing. My sons grades have drastically improved but more importantly his confidence has skyrocketed. He is more content and less stressed. The staff have a way of explaining things that make it click.
