I can’t say enough good things about the PGA Junior League program in Wisconsin. It is a tremendous opportunity for young kids to be introduced to the game of golf through real competition, while also developing so many of the lifelong skills that naturally come with the game: patience, persistence, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and drive.
The Junior League format creates an environment where kids can compete, improve, support their teammates, and learn to handle both success and adversity. It truly provides an experience that goes well beyond simply learning how to play golf.
I also can’t speak highly enough about the coaches and the program at Kohler. Year after year, they provide an exceptional experience for the kids. Coach David and his staff have worked with our family for nearly seven years and have had the opportunity to coach all four of our children during that time.
We feel incredibly fortunate that our kids have been able to be part of such a wonderful program and to learn the game from coaches who care not only about developing golfers, but also about developing great young people.
The league was a nice experience for my daughter. I appreciate the exposure to playing the sport. It was organized well.
Competitive team aspect lets players work through strategy together. Not only compromising but sometimes taking a player out of their comfort zone.

This was my son's first year playing golf. He built foundational skills this season and now has a love for the game! Ryan is a phenomenal coach who is excellent at teaching the game and working with the kids!

My son had an amazing time! Although there was one couch that rushed them and he didn’t appreciate that as golf isn’t a fast paced game. Plus if the kids have to walk the coach’s should to.. not be in a cart while they are walking especially with it so hot outside.
That being said we will definitely be back he loved every other couch he had and the great kids that came along with it.
The learning experience and fun
Kids learn proper golf etiquette and it’s nice they play with older kids too. They’re guided by older kids and not just the golf pros. I feel like my child really loves the competition and playing other courses.
