The coaching and team atmosphere
Great format for young players!
I absolutely love the programming provided by Scott Robbins at the Stuart Creek Peninsula Golf Course in The Colony, Texas. The level of expertise, enthusiasm, and personal attention given to the golfers makes my children feel welcome and has increased their interest in, goals to achieve, and love for the game of golf.
Everything! It's fun, it gives the kids the chance to compete with their friends and against their friends, it gives the kids a chance to learn the game and to see different courses. The team aspect is great for the kids (but otherwise we are a PGA family that does NOT support or like the team aspect of LIV for adults - hate everything about LIV!!) and gives them an opportunity to play a format where they root for each other and to help each other learn in an otherwise individual game.

It helps young golfers develop their game in a positive and competitive manner.
We have a terrific coach this year that spends a lot of time instructing the kids, showing them, talking about concepts and then letting them try it. We highly recommend Coach Kevin as a Junior PGA coach as he is very patient and kind to the kids. My son was sad he didnt get on the same team as his friends this past season and he struggles at 8 years old doing all 9 holes when other kids dont come to the tournaments but other than that it's a great experience.

My girls are on the older end of their age group, and playing with younger players has taught them leadership skills they wouldn't have otherwise gained. I've proudly watched them play their best while also encouraging the younger players, and not getting discouraged if, as a team, they may not win the round.

In our case , close proximity to home limited travel time.
My son is fairly new to the sport and has come a long way in his physical ability to play the game. I believe the scramble format and having to share his strategy verbally with a teammate will make him a better golfer in a MUCH shorter time.
This format also removes some of the stress he feels while playing and it is a nice break from the normal tournaments he participates in.

It gives my child the opportunity to compete and build skills for future tournaments. It is a more relaxed environment for learning than the NTJPGA. It also helps with team building among the kids.
Coaches are great for the kids. Kids have a good time being teammates and learning the game.
Such a great value and my daughter is getting regular golf lessons in a friendly environment. She loves it!
