Great introduction to competitive golf for kids. Terrific format (2-person scramble) to ease the pressure.
The format is great for encouraging kids to enjoy the game - not so much pressure when they scramble with a team mate. Also, introducing team golf is a great approach.
That without any adult interference, the youth players ( playing as a two man team ) would have to consult between themselves the various strategies being applied on each shot on each hole such as, which ball to be used for the next (scramble format) shot.
That communication skill set along with golf etiquette and competition skills is what I like about PGA Jr. League.
Wish the season was about four weeks further.

The coaching was excellent.
It is a great way to introduce kids to competitive golf in a low stress environment. That there are teams, a scramble formate and flags all contribute to keeping the matches balanced and kids engaged throughout the competition.

It can meet a lot of golf friends and shared golf technique. Also, can go different golf field to played with different players from different area.
Our coaches Shelly & Shawn( Dry Creek, Ca) were amazing. Our kids bonded and had amazing time. They are so positive and the kids thrive with them!
