Team atmosphere with a forgiving format for younger golfers.
It is just so enjoyable for the players.
If they miss a shot, no big deal they have a partner. Much less stressful then medal play.
But still they are learning how to play the game.
I like they pick their own clubs to hit. No caddy to help.
Also it is much more enjoyable for the parents to watch. You are always pulling for the partner.
My son has played for the league for 4 years now. He really enjoys his coach and team mates. Overall his game has improved as well as his maturity and the genuine care for everyone on the team.
I like the tournaments that kids can join. They are well organized and age appropriate.

the format is the best for kids. Hands down. I would love to work for the PGA Jr league and grow it to the number one association in all of kids golf, which it may already be in places
