the PGA JR League has been a great experience for my child. The only recommendation would be to have an adult keep an observer scorecard. We just did this at sectionals and they had to come back at look at the observer scorecard. I think this would be a great addition for the league to look into.
My son enjoyed getting instruction on his technique and having fun with the other kids. He looked forward to the lessons and the matches!
This is such an amazing program for kids 13 or under! I love that the matches are two person best ball.
I like the two player best shot team format for matches. Less pressure and encourages teamwork. Also nice for the players to experience playing matches at other golf courses. Great opportunity to participate on a team representing their country club.
Good format. Coaching was good. Kids had fun. They improved a lot over the season and learned a lot about competitive golf in their first season of PGA jr. League.
The fact that you can introduce golf in a competitive manner to kids as a team vs. individual.
PGA Jr. League allows youth golfers an introduction to competitive golf, while still focusing on a fun environment. The kids rotate golf partners to promote a team environment and friendships. Our coach is amazing and the kids really enjoy learning from him.
Coaches were very positive influences for the kids and were very organized. Would like to see more competition with other nearby junior league groups.
Great way to get kids out playing. However, this year the course was very crowded, we had to play three somes a couple times. Perhaps we could split the teams by age groups or have an additional night for tournaments so they move along faster, Thanks, overall it’s a great experience!

JT and Doug did an awesome job with the kids. We had a challenging season with the heat, but we made it through. It would be nice to have a recap of the season with the players and parent. I also wish we could keep the kids active throughout the fall and winter and spring.
It was good place to start for my son. It was the first year of golf. It was good that h learned the the basics and practice. Will sign up again.

Great program to introduce kids to the team aspect of golf, getting used to playing with friends and new teammates, learning individual skills and confidence. It was a great experience!

One recommendation, run the all Star event before school starts in IL. Some of the IL kids had to skip the event because they were already in school.
The flexibility and support it gives kids.
My son enjoyed having 1 practice and 1 game each week and felt like the instruction helped him improve.
Only issue was that it didn't seem like questions in the team chat on the app were seen by any coaches as they went unanswered there

Fun to see the kids competing in a team format.
Exposure to the sport with competition but still a relaxed atmosphere. My daughter had not played golf prior to the league, didn't win any of her matches, and still had a great time.
We had a positive experience, and my daughter enjoyed having the opportunity to improve her skills and play others her age.
