Consumer Testimonials
The practice times and the matches were enjoyable for all.
Great experience for kids and good format for kids starting in competitive golf.
Well organized. Makes golf fun.
Great staff, beautiful course!
Kids partnering up with other kids helping each other learn the game and enjoying it.
The hands on coaching and attention our children received
We as a family like the 2 man scramble format. Our boys are adopted from the foster care system, both with FASD and both with challenges, yet the kids and staff were friendly and the environment was competitive yet welcoming.
We wish that the Director of our section was around more and more responsive and we wish there was more coaching taking place, but the experience was excellent for our two boys and their peers. Staffing & budget are real challenges, hopefully there is an opportunity for real feedback & input on how we can improve these items. At the state All-Stars the teams in Indy are way ahead skill wise and it can be defeating to get beat so badly ... how does the PGA help there to be a more level playing field with quality instruction? Likely we just need an actual coach that is there and teaching.
I like the team match play format and the added pressure that a match brings. My son has absolutely loved it this year.
Our fearless leader, Bradley, was so good with the kids -- patient, sense of humor, attentive, the perfect balance of instruction and fun. My daughter LOVED it!
It gave my son the opportunity to learn about golf and our coach Barry Bonifield was so good about teaching the kids to encourage one another and work together as a team. That taught me son that even though golf is an independent sport, you can encourage and play with others.
Great instruction. Fun competition. Camaraderie of learning together
My son got practical hands-on experience and was able to play with kids of all different experience levels
Jan, the instructor was top notch. Very enjoyable to see young kids improve and enjoy the results.

The entire event was well ran and fun for both our kid and us.
Its helps my daughter play more golf with other kids and improve her game and experience.
It’s a very welcoming and relaxed introduction to the sport for kids. Great work!
Good for players of different levels. Teaches them about the game of golf.
There was lots of quality time spent on real courses. The kids learned different aspects about the game of golf from their peers because there was a good mix of skill level.
I also liked that each match was played against others “within” the group. This created a more familiar and less pressured atmosphere in which my child seemed to thrive in and feel accepted.
This was our first year, and we are looking forward to continuing next summer.
Loved the atmosphere. Competitive, laid back and fun all in one outing. Nice work!
My child had the best time with his PGA junior league. The instruction was top-notch.
My kid loved it. He just wanted to play more matches.
The instruction and coaching from the instructors.
My kids had a chance to play golf without the pressure of strict competition. They had a blast and want to continue golf rather than being discouraged.
Great experience for my son to play with people his age outside of school along with getting some great professional coaching.
I like that PGA Jr. League creates a fun, team-oriented environment where kids can learn and improve their golf skills without the pressure of traditional competition. It encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and building friendships, all while giving players a chance to experience real match play in a supportive setting. Plus, the relaxed format makes it enjoyable for both new golfers and more experienced players.
Well organized, kids enjoyed a lot!
It is a great, supportive learning environment.
