Great way for kids to play golf
Great way for juniors to learn the game in a fin setting with their peers. Pros are terrific and teach so much to the kids.

Both of my sons participated in the program over the summer and enjoyed it. I like that the program is structured around building or enhancing golf skills and golf etiquette. The weekly team matches gave the participants real experience on the golf course and the opportunity to see their own strengths and weaknesses. We will definitely participate in the program again.
My son has been involved for the past 4-5 years and I have served as a coach. It's such a great way to not only introduce kids to the game, but also enable them to create long-lasting friendships.
It was a great opportunity for our son to learn more about the game of golf. Exposure to other courses was also an exciting challenge.
Best program the PGA of America has to offer. Kids love it, great revenue generator for the club pro, lasting friendships, fun competitions, team bonding at the local club. Because of PGA Jr league, we are no launching a junior golf academy.
Great program for the kids
I believe that part of playing any sport is learning how to work as a team. The Jr League introduces a way that a golfer has to work with a teammate. Teaches compromise, discussions and friendship.

There weren’t enough practices however
Loved the fun and great competition that it brought for my son. He really enjoyed it.

The weekly practices where my daughter gets instruction on driving, chipping and putting and then the weekly matches where she learns the etiquette of the game. Teamwork, meeting other kids and really having to talk team strategy is a big bonus to overall personal development..
The format teaches.
It is an amazing opportunity for kids to learn golf in a professional setting and the coaches have been awesome! We also love the cute bags and the team shirts!

The only suggestion is if both groups have 3 players, let that group play a 3 man scramble. Asking a kid to sit out 3 holes and their parents to walk around for an extra hour without their kid playing just seems like an easy fix. It will also create a tighter match.
I love that the kids get to be on the PGA League.

The program at River Highland was amazing. Very well organized and run and my twins really want to participate again! The match play experience was great!
