Consumer Testimonials
The program offers a step up from the First Tee program in that instruction is more hands on and it also provides junior golfers with exposure to competitive golf situations at an early age that they may not have had exposure to otherwise.
It was a wonderful experience for my son, and the tournaments were very well run!
The coaches are awesome, they play super fun games, and it is a great community environment for kids of all ages.
That my son loves it! The coaches are outstanding!
Very well organized and run. Kids had a blast seeing new courses. The match play format and scramble is perfect and fun for the kids.
Has been an amazing experience for my daughter. Would highly recommend!
It is a great program for young golfers. Team play helps take the pressure of individuals and allows them to learn the game in a more relaxed environment.
The website works very well to communicate with families.
Coaches are great! My son loves this program-he learned a lot and had so much fun doing it. He wasn’t interested in golf until participating in this program. I love that he now has a sport he can take part in for a lifetime
PGA Jr. is a great way to get kids out on the golf course and playing actual matches. My son has had a great experience. My only suggestion would be to break out the ages a little more since pre-teens will need a higher level of instruction than 7-8 year olds.
PGA Jr. League with Kelli McKandless has been a great experience. Every season she puts together a great leauge. The kids have fun while learning all things golf. Kelli is so organized and flexible and makes it so easy and enjoyable to participate, even for multi sport kids.
Good experience for young golfers. Learn to love the game
Great coach
It was a great way for a beginner to learn the basics of golf. Coach Jeff Jones did a great job, and my son mentioned he learned quite a bit from him. He was able to apply some of the golf tips he was taught in golf matches, and most of all learning how to compose himself.
This is our first league session and it has been a really positive experience! Looking forward to future sessions for our kids!
Great low pressure environment that teaches kids golf without all the normal politics of youth sports.
The Keystone, CO Junior PGA program is excellent! The staff and coaches go above and beyond to create an amazing experience for the kids. I cannot say enough good thinks about the program!!!
The team dynamic! It gave the kids a great chance to learn and grow their game without as much pressure. The coaches were wonderful, too!
We love the coaches, the fun, the support and connecting to a local course through frequent visits.
My child had tons of fun and liked being paired up with different people each week.
It's a great opportunity for kids to learn about golf. There is a lot of engagement because of the on course play.
We like the team atmosphere and having fun. My son is starting to play competitively and Jr league helps to keep golf light hearted and fun. It’s less stress than tournament play.
I think it’s well run. However I would like to see Colorado move regions to something more accommodating to our area. We played in the regionals two years in a row and have been killed by the southern teams who can play year round. Why is Colorado not part of a region with Utah, Wyoming, Kansas, etc. this way we would be at least playing other states with a seasonal golf year at the regionals. I understand we would still need to compete at Nationals but we have no chance in the Texas region.
Team play. Point system per three holes
Getting to play on the beautiful golf courses and improve my son’s golf game.
It’s a great, fun, relaxed way for kids to start playing the game of golf. The format is good and teaches them the basics of the game.
The coaches and format of matches
Lots of practice and the chance to play different courses.
Excellent coaching and fun times for our kids - thank you!
It gets the kids on the course and playing like you practice and provides a fun level of competition
