Consumer Testimonials
Love everything about it but kids competing at different ages should use different tees. My 9 year old played against 12/13 year olds who were hitting irons on to par 4s from the tee. Strength differences from 9 to 13 is significant.
I like that they play captains choice. I like that the kids have fun and it’s not too competitive. We have met a lot of great people playing PGA Jr. Like that the kids get to play on different golf courses and all year.
I like the one on one attention in golf and mental health areas my child is receiving. I appreciate the coaches genuine concern for my child and the support he is given to succeed at golf, school and his personal life. I value the lesson of discipline my child is learning through the game of golf and the the coaches leadership.
Our coach!
This format and the small tournament setup was a hit and my 8 year old daughter loved it. It was great experience and she is looking forward to the next chance.
We love the professional instruction and the opportunity to play at ironwood
How well organized the program is and the format of play.
Amazing program! Great way to introduce youth to golf!
Such a great experience for the kids. Coaches are very positive.
Friendship and bonds
The ability for my boys to have a structured event for golf each week was wonderful
Our coach Randy and the country clubs that host us. They always make the children feel welcome.
It is a very good way for young golfers to learn the game, gain confidence and experience. They are able to play with their peers especially older kids who can serve as role models and mentors.
How much fun my kids had
The overall structure is great, love the 3 hole flag scoring and team environment.
Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. I also really enjoy seeing beautiful courses that my sons would not have the chance to play were it not for this program.
With the right coaching, this program provides a perfect opportunity for my kids to fall in love with golf.
A chance for the younger generation to play the greens.
All of the training/coaching my son got. How he learned about golf etiquette; what it was like to play an actual match. Everything was amazing!
Gets kids out playing matches
Coach Megan showed the kids how to properly swing, hit and what club to use. She gave creative tips and no child felt awkward. She lead us all the way to ALLSTARS where we played for state. We liked Megan so much and the environment at Carolina Springs we joined the club!!!!
Good for kids to develop interests in playing golf and competition. The program also help strengthening kids’ mind physically and emotionally.
We really like to experience that my son is getting from the opportunity to play for junior PGA and meet other kids on his level. We truly believe but this will be something that he will do in the future on his own things to the PGA
Tega Cay, SC has a wonderful coach in Cami Berher.
The format. The coaching and the general positive environment it promoted.
We really loved the format and the team effort.
We did not like the way the PGA Jr. League picked the Allstar teams.
They should pick the best 8 kids from the local region to play based upon performance and scores in season.
It should be the BEST kids that go to the Allstars— not a number from the top team, lower number from 2 Nd place ect. Please consider how the all star teams are picked for next year. Also, it should be up to the coaches and if someone under 10 is that good to be picked — then they should get to go— not just over 10 years old.
Very organized
The opportunity for participation in organized play and the building of skills to be used on the golf course.

It is a great avenue to help them stay strait and grow
