I really liked that my kids got to learn how to play golf. I have never played and when they expressed an interest in golf, I did not feel able to teach or show them what to do. I only wish that the program had lasted longer than it did.
The opportunity for young golfers to learn to navigate tournament play in a supportive environment. I also appreciate that the golfers get to visit other courses on match days, so they have the chance to hone their skills on courses other than their home course.

It’s a great way for kids to get over the anxiety golf can cause. The 2 man scramble format keeps the pace of play and keeps kids in the game even if it’s not their best day.

Jeff Mullican at Pheasant Run makes the PGA junior league a fun and positive learning experience by having the matches be a scramble format. My daughter progressed significantly this summer during the season which gave her confidence going into high school.

The Jr. PGA program is an incredible opportunity for kids to learn and grow through the game of golf. With the support of the PGA, it helps make the program more accessible for families who may not otherwise have the financial means to participate. The staff and instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping each child develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. It’s a wonderful program that creates opportunities both on and off the course.

Amazing experience! Tele is wonderful at pairing the kids up evenly for matches. The practice sessions are so helpful and my son has found a deep love of the game all because of this program!

My son had a great experience with the PGA Jr. League. I love the team atmosphere it brings and how much the kids learn about the rules of golf. My son learned some good lessons on being accountable for not only himself but his teammate.
