PGA Junior League is one of the best junior golf programs I've ever been a part of. The fun, competitive atmosphere but with low pressure. It's a great way for us as coaches to teach the game that really grasps the kid's interest. Great for the family's that get involved and come out to support their kids. I highly recommend this program and wish more clubs and coaches who aren't running this program to definitely do so.
Growing the game of golf through the concept of fun, friends, and family. This continues to be a success at Valleybrook CC, as we host 13u (40 participants) and 17u (24 participants). I hope to continue growing this in coming years.
It’s awesome! Kids learn not only team work, but for most of them they get to make decisions for the first time. They then see the consequences of their decisions. Life lessons and fun for sure.

PGA Junior League connects the PGA Pro to the local community. IMO its important for the success of the PGA and the industry as a whole that we provide these programs to the junior golf community. I also think PGA Junior League could grow into a Little League type of program and continue to scale up.
It's a great way to grow the game and transition junior golfers from the range / practice areas to the golf course. Through this experience, you also are able to see the development of other crucial life qualities, such as leadership, camaraderie, honesty, and encouragement.

It’s a great way to get kids into golf. It teaches life lesson skills, while building confidence, decision making and sportsmanship.

Great introduction program for beginning golfers.
PGA Jr. League is the best introduction to competitive golf for all junior golfers. Combining a team atmosphere for a sport that is generally an individual game creates friendships that would otherwise go missing in a traditional tournament.
I like that it provides an environment for kids to come out in and play golf in a fun and relaxed team setting. Kids learn to make friends on the team and compete with their friends as well, which makes them look forward to coming back each and every week.
I think it's the best program out there. It gives kids of all ages the opportunity to not only get on the golf course but play competitively in a no pressure fun environment. The organization of the league is always handled smoothly and speaking as a coach that has had as many as 6 teams in a season, I know my membership couldn't be happier with the product we put out. I do however which more focus went into the 17U league. Almost no other local clubs' field a team (which only requires 4 players) which means we have to play some courses that are 1 or 2 hours away. Hope fully we can improve on that but otherwise fantastic.
Great Program.
Fantastic event for the juniors and families to learn and play as a team. Gets parents involved which is very helpful and important also.

PGA Junior League is a great way to introduce young new golfers to the game. It is also so beneficial to see the somewhat older kids or more experienced kids help the new golfers.
On both levels it is a great learning opportunity. We also use this league as a feeder system for our more competitive league.

PGA Junior League is a no brainer for ALL types of facilities. It's a program that will be successful wherever it's launched. As long as the PGA professionals running the program are enthusiastic about it, it will be very well received

PGA Jr. League is my favorite program to run each year. It has completely changed the atmosphere towards junior golf at our club. I would highly recommend this program to every club that is considering it. The numbers behind it back it up from a business standpoint and then some and the word of mouth it does for our club and junior program is incredible.
