Coach Testimonials
I love the team aspect, the camaraderie and the format.
Great way to grow the game and membership at your course
Course play for juniors and relationship building
What I like most about PGA Jr. League is the environment it creates for kids to fall in love with golf. The team format makes the game fun, social, and welcoming while still giving juniors opportunities to learn, compete, and develop confidence. I especially enjoy watching beginners progress from learning basic skills to playing on the course, competing alongside their teammates, and eventually pursuing opportunities like the NTPGA Junior Tour and Drive, Chip & Putt. PGA Jr. League gives us a pathway to develop golfers, but more importantly, it gives kids a place where they feel like they belong.
amazing initiative to help grow the game, build programs and see junior golf expand.
seeing the progress from the players over the season. Witnessing all the fun memories the players and families create every season
By offering Jr League, I've been able to consistently add new students, start developing on-course experience, and increase participation in my Junior Academy.
Provides opportunity for players with all skill level a chance to compete.
Introducing golf in a team based atmosphere is an awesome way for a child to begin their golf journey.
I like the team aspect of practices and matches as this program gets juniors ready for high school and to play the game for a lifetime
I love the team aspect of the PGA Jr. League and the two person match play element. I believe that takes some of the pressure off the kids.
It’s a good mix of fun and competitiveness that gets kids on the course.

Junior League is great program for any club public or private. The program if run right can reach juniors from all different kinds of backgrounds. brings families together and to the golf course. Each year the PGA keeps making it better
It helps bring the community together through golf.
Opportunity to grow a junior program with the help and support of the PGA.
I like the fact that it is fun team environment for the kids.
I love getting kids on course playing with other kids. By running PGA Jr. Leagues we are giving those kids that opportunity for specific time for friendly beginner competition on course so they can play a game. Golf cannot be all practice, the fun is in playing the game and what a better way to play than a scramble! So thankful for this program!
No pressure, fun environment and it includes beginners to experienced players
Great and relaxed environment for many young people
The community
I love that kids are getting lots of opportunities to have fun in a friendly competitive environment on the golf course. I love playing in scrambles with friends and I don’t remember playing in many scrambles with others kids my age while growing up. I know there is so much learning peer-to-peer and for kids to get a chance to work on their communication and collaboration skills while playing golf is instrumental in their growth and confidence!
Provides a chance for junior golfers to experience a Team atmosphere!
I like PGA Jr League as an opportunity to introduce golf to juniors with a “team” environment. Team gear and the social opportunities are so positive and helps our facility continue to foster our deep tradition as one of the country’s best junior development programs.
We look forward to continue to offer PGA Jr League throughout the year.
It’s the best introduction to playing golf for juniors!
I like you can combine experienced players with non experienced players and they all have a great time together. I also like the family coming out to the course to watch and then they all come in to the clubhouse to eat dinner. This is what it is all about, having fun and making life long friend.

For us, this is the perfect way to introduce the game to youth. We treat it like any other rec sport. Training all season long with Game Days mixed in throughout the season to take their new skills to the course. Once on the course, they want to get better, making coaching eager athletes more effective.
Additionally, with Celebration Divisions in 13U and 17U All-Star events, the selected All-Stars still feel special even though their skill level cannot compete in the Competitive division.
