Coach Testimonials
Building a team atmosphere to get juniors into the game.
Big fan of Jr League.
Team atmosphere. Great parents. Playing opportunities.
Boys and girls play a scramble format as a team. They learn strategy and course management by conversing with each other after each shot. The welcoming and inclusive environment breeds good sportsmanship and etiquette. The rules of golf are introduced in a less penalizing manner.
Scramble makes it possible for experienced and inexperienced to play. I also like the jerseys.
The interaction doesn't stop with the kids; it permeates the family and all of their friends. This gets to the heart of our greatest mission, golf promotion for generations to come.
I like that the players get to work together to make decisions.
The best part of PGA Jr league is the schedule is up to the individual coach. Which makes it nice for the coach but also the golfers
Team atmosphere. Family fun. Thought process from the kids and the ability to work as a team.
Kids having fun
Scramble format. Team environment.
I like being able to get many ages involved. Format makes it easy for beginners
The kids enjoy the team aspect. The two person scramble makes it easy for all levels. The all star season helps keep better players involved.
Everything. The engagement with the young golfers and the improvement is fantastic !
Mentorship, Money, Teaching
Nice way to get started in the game.
Team golf and less pressure for the kids.
Tremendous format for beginning and intermediate youth golfers to improve and compete.
It has been the best thing to do to increase junior golf participation for both girls and boys at Noble Hawk. We have gotten about 3-4 family memberships because of the PGA Jr League. The Team Scramble Format helps in giving the kids confidence to play. Also, i have never heard a parent complain about the PGA Jr League.
So much fun
I was skeptical about the scramble format, but the kids love it. I like that I can mix up my better players with total beginners and they can still have fun together. I love how it is an introduction to golf for some kids, and a continuation of golf for those that have played. It's something for everyone!
Family involvement!
Very inclusive and fun for any skill level
The format is great for kids of all levels.
It is a great program for everyone that gets involved especially the players. Parents and Players get to play and see other golf courses. the PGA jr league helps the whole facility. I have done it now for 10 years at three different golf courses and it has grown every single year.
It is such a great alternative to the stale summer "Junior Golf Camp" where we just march a big group up to the range, spread them out in a long line and hit balls 3 x week then call it a camp
They are actually playing the game of golf!
This is greatest junior golf program, as it involves the kids in a non-threatening way to competition. Every year it is so much fun.
It is a great expieiance for both beginners and developing players !!
Very rewarding to see the progress throughout the season. Great way to grow the game
