Our daughter was not happy when she walked in the door, on the first day. After attending her first lesson, she walked out with a positive attitude and always happy to go. We are so grateful for the progress she has made. She really understands, not memorized, and now she likes to explain math to us. We are so thankful for this program and her wonderful teachers!

Our daughter was struggling with very simple math concepts in elementary school. A single homework sheet would take hours and involve many tears. When we asked the school for help, they told us she was doing fine. But we knew she was NOT fine. She hated math and told everyone that she was bad at it. We decided to call Tim at Mathnasium. He listened to our story and assured us that our experience was very common. There was nothing "wrong" with our child, she just needed to focus on the fundamental concepts in a way that would make math fun using motivational goals customized to her interests. Within just a few months, we saw significant progress.
