I was told in an e-mail that after my bad experience in 2018 that I would be "comped" for a full mvp but I was not and I was charged the regular amount. Its really nice when retail establishments don't live up to what they said they would do! NEVER GOING BACK! YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!
The hair stylist went out of her way to give me the exact cut I wanted.
If I sent you a picture of the back of my head, you would understand. The hair is literally cut 1 1/2 inches above the line it is normally cut and it's still not straight.
I keep coming back because of Robert. He does a great job on my hair, and always great conversation.

I signed in online for a specific stylist and when I arrived at that time there was one person in front of me still for him and he was at break. If there was a way for the system to anticipate breaks or notify people waiting if their anticipated appointment would be delayed to show up at a later time it would have been nice. Robert’s attention to quality is definitely worth the wait but would have been more convenient if the system told me of the delay
This was the second time I've been to a Sports Clips and both where bad hair cuts.

Never trimmed side burns. Not a great haircut overall.
Janine is so friendly and very knowledgeable. She cut my hair exactly how I like it and I left feeling good. It’s hard to find a good stylist who listens & understands what I want and then properly executes the style I came in for. Next time I need a cut I’ll be requesting Janine.

Yesterday I got one of the best haircuts of my life at the Newbury Park salon. A lady by the name of Janine took care of me, and she was fabulous. Extremely competent and thoroughly professional, while, at the same time being kind, understandng of my needs, and just a real human being.
I've been there before, and Robert was great, but this time really stood out. That lady was so good at it and so helpful, I left, thinking she should be running the place!
That said, I want to say that I'm suggesting this particular salon to all of my friends in Newbury park and Thousand Oak, and I suggest that you give Janine some kind of an acknowledgment.

janine is outstanding for both of our haircuts a short forward brush mens and jean curly hair. we have followed janine when she is local for a number of years as she always does a great haircut. First name removed and Jean Last name removed

I like being able to make an appointment and getting a text to notify me when my stylist will be available 10 min. beforehand. Also speeds things up to have my usual desired haircut on file wherever I go.
What I like least is the obvious pressure among the stylists to upsell the VIP haircut package. I don’t come for the VIP package, so I always turn it down to the disappointment of the stylist.
The lady didn’t do exactly what was requested. Asked for a fade and she did same length all around. No fade!

thought I was satisfied until getting home and realizing I could have done a better job myself and saved the 20+ dollar hair cut and $10 tip. Stylist was nice but what I asked for and what I received was less than pleasing. I'm not asking for anything and don't want to get anyone in trouble, but will think twice about returning.
