You have a fantastic instructor on Thursday s . Her name is Laura the class is low impact combo. I have been taking her class at the Monty Ballard location forever, and now started at the Katy Main St. Location on Thursday. Her class is always packed. I truly wish she was teaching 2 days at each location. Ironically I was speaking with friend’s yesterday and suggested they start her classes.
It’s motivating to work together with great instructors.
The instructors are all very personable and highly knowledgeable about their field of expertise.
Everything! It’s such a great clean facility with great workout equipment. I love the lighting and the fact that the treadmills and equipment are upstairs. It is so bright and no loud music. What makes this facility outstanding is the staff. They are so helpful and kind. I do not do any classes, but my husband and I come at least four and sometimes five times a week. This facility maintains and promotes what the YMCA stands for.

Staff is very professional and kind
I like the Zumba class, the size of the class is perfect, the teacher is nice as well. Lap swimming is good, most time I can find a lane, don’t need to wait.
The gym in the workout area is always nice and clean. Disinfectant spray is provided for those who choose to use it. All the people that work here are very friendly and helpful.
This location is very clean! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. The staff are also very welcoming and polite. If you have children, the child watch staff are great with kids and my kids love them. This will always be my go to location.

I really enjoy the classes. Plus, the childcare activities have been so fun for my youngest. She runs in there excited and I can enjoy an hour to myself and focus.

The instructors are very knowlegable and they are very good at remembering who you are.
Clean facility, great instructors, lots of programs and plenty of equipment..
I only use it to play pickleball. I'm happy that activity is back on a full schedule.

I just use the cardio and weights, but I like the layout and I always feel like I have enough space to workout it.

I love how upscale it feels at this Y and the upstairs studio where I usually take bodycombat. Although I switch between this location and Monty Ballard, since I live in between the two Y's, this one is definitely newer and nicer. Either way, I'm not super picky about my gym as long as I like my instructors and there are a variety of classes to choose from.
I do have to say, you can't beat the price offers that the Y provides and the variety of classes offered for the price point is impressive. Thank you so much Y!
