The whole package: staff, breadth of programs, … etc.
I’ve been a member for about 30 years. I only swim. Perhaps one day I will take advantage of all Trotter has to offer. I had no idea how spoiled I was to have a year round outdoor pool until I looked into Ys in the Dallas area where my S.O. lives.
Quality and variety
Variety of programs. Excellent staff.
I had a good experience using the weight room and bicycles. I took my grandchlldren to the pool last Friday. They were looking forward to using the big slide. We were told they could not use the slide, because they needed 5 lifeguards on duty. There were only my three 10 yr. old grandchildren, my husband and myself in the pool. They were all disappointed. I would like to know if and when 5 lifeguards are on duty so that I could bring them back again.
Friendliness, great classes and equipment
I have very competent instructors and other staff are good listeners.
Outdoors running track and enough elliptical machines
Large variety and times for classes.
Nice activities for seniors
The Trotter Y is wonderful~ very clean, the machines are well maintained and my trainer is excellent.
The pool is great for me. Everything else is more than adequate..
Group classes
I like the class variety and the energy and creativity of the fitness class instructors. I am disappointed that so many classes are now using virtual videos.

I love the beautiful clean pool, I love the classes, and over all atmosphere and very friendly staff
I attend the Forever Well and Silver Sneakers classes and enjoy the work out and stretching and all the different instructors
Needs a sauna and steam room.

Like being able to have access to equipment at gym. Staff are helpful (or at least try to be).
The variety
The location is very convenient without much traffic during rush hour. The YMCA has ample facilities and now has brand new treadmills which is a big improvement from the older treadmills. The facilities and grounds are invaluable in serving the community and binding it together.
Mat Pilates, but I hate the gym. Acoustics are bad and you can’t hear the instructor
There is a lot of variety in group exercise classes. However, I would like to see a 4:45 or 5:00 pm class on Monday. There are three good choices in the late afternoon on Thursday but none on Monday. How about moving one of them to Monday afternoon.
