The group exercise instructors are great; the group ex rooms are very clean; and staff is friendly.
It is a very good place to meet people and get involved with exercise or other activities. Sometimes when you don't have places to meet people or make friends the YMCA is the perfect place to come. Everyone is kind, and friendly, and it really helps to get out of the house and get involved in things. For my 95 yr old father the YMCA has become his lifeline and he is so happy to go there every week!

Bright & clean work out area. Outdoor pool is clean & sparkling. Women’s locker room is clean & well organized. There is a dry area outside of each shower for toweling off and getting dressed. Showers are great with good water pressure! Thanks for attending to so many details!

Weights
I work-out in the large room upstairs & am very satisfied with the variety of equipment & the environment. I especially like the long hours that Weekley is open.
For 60+ years, I have enjoyed a variety of organized exercise programs in various towns & places, 15+ of those years have been at Weekley Y. One especially effective leader I've experienced @Weekley Y was Kathleen (who moved out of Houston some yrs. ago) & another is Hallimah who is currently on staff.
I've heard good reports about others, but haven't been in many of their classes.
I've always found ALL staff members helpful & delightful & appreciate the wholesome environment.
The gym is available every day.
Several of the events have been interesting and helpful.
Wide variety of activities
Our family is immensely appreciative of all that the Y offers. We have benefitted from child watch, youth programs , daily exercise classes, a top notch exercise facility and many community programs. Can’t imagine our lives without the Y.

Spin instructors are all great. The music and the routines.
The enhanced fitness classes include total body - cardio, range of motion, balance, strength, etc.
The schedules are varied and newcomers are always welcome in the classes that do not require registration.

The kids club leaders are so good with the kids! My two year old told me, “being happy is going to the Y!” Haha, and he’s usually more cautious around new people. They do crafts and play games with the kids. It’s so nice knowing my kids are having fun while I get some me time. And they have a great pool for the kids! I also enjoy the classes. CSI with Ellen on Monday mornings. She’s amazing! I’m always learning new exercises in that class and it’s a great workout. I also love Bodycombat with Leslie and Rachel! It’s taken me a couple weeks to get used to all the moves, but if you keep going it gets even more fun!

The Weekly Y is a friendly place with a full schedule of classes for all ages. I love the Active Older Adult program as well as body pump and Yoga. The Y is my happy place.

We all love Marvin and the love and wisdom he passes along to all of the children.
I wish the pilates reformer room was bigger. My girlfriend and I wanted to sign up for classes, but the max is 6 students, so there wasn't room for two new students. Please add more reformer classes or host it in a bigger room.
