Senior events and pickle ball and weight machines
Yoga classes but you need to make Wednesday 11:30 advanced again. Lin is great but does beginner yoga.
The group activities and the people
Interesting and diverse activities for older adults.
Wide variety for all ages and abilities, wholesome family atmosphere, clean and well maintained
It's convenient to my house and is covered by my Medicare plan. Staff is helpful and friendly.
I like the gym facilities
I am there mainly for exercise; but witness the social programs for families, kids' swimming programs; kids playing basket ball in the Gym; seniors socializing, playing card games and having meals together in the senior meeting room; the senior gentleman sitting at the entrance welcoming people at the door interacting with little kids, and the various programs, including speakers fot an educational subject re health and other topics and fun trips. in summary, i like the variety of activities, fun and entertainement for all age groups.. very friendly, warm, family-type of atmostphere. I see some educational topics offered to the public by some drs, thus i want to offer mine on a subject of my specialty of Adolescent/Child Psychiatry, for example Parenting little children with behavior problems; by the way, my husband is also a retired physician - specialized in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine; he could also offer some educational lectures in his specialty. Both of us are retired, with a busy life, mainly helping our daughter caring for her 4 young kids, and i am still teaching as avolunteer faculty at UTM B. I am willing to come and offer volunteer activity in my specialty; but right now, i can't do much due to my severe broken wrist. I am available on this email though.
I enjoy the AOA exercise classes the most. Other activities for seniors, as well, but the parking situation makes it difficult at times.
Programs and activities are always there for you.
Environment is very friendly and welcoming.
Love Silver Sneakers program, excellent instructors, friendly members, and child care!
Great monthly programs too.
Thank you.
I haven't participated in any programs to date.
Great pickleball mixer with Smith Y!
camaraderie, classes for AOA, special programs too
Aoa classes
I love Senior Exercise and the programs for seniors. I also like the exercise equipment as I ride the stationary bicycle 2x/week.
I think it is a clean facility and convenient to my home. I like Elena Dinkins in particular, and I like the people who attend the Y.
Thanks for a great asset to the community.
I like the noon informational presentations like for Medicare
The facilities are kept clean and updated. Staff is friendly, and the other people are there to exercise, not socialize.
I attend Silver Sneakers Mon, Wed, & Fri @ 11:45 am
Love the classes and have made good friends
I am a recent member due to the Silver Sneakers program. I am surprised at the large number of classes that are available. I have been enjoying attending yoga classes with different instructors at different times of the day. Thank you very much for providing so many options.
This location is Very organize and clean. The staffs are friendly. Their activities are for all age group. Child watch is awesome they really care for the children learning while there. It’s better then all the YMCA locations I have visited.
Wonderful yoga and stretching instructors. From front desk people to instructors to helpful people on 2nd floor they are all kind and helpful. Love my Y.
I love the variety of classes offered, the inclusion of the community in the sports programs, and the quality of staff-from front desk, coaches, instructors..everyone.
The instructors and the classes that are provided
It’s for the whole family so I can go with my kids!
The equipment is in great condition
Stella is an excellent BodyFlow instructor. I joined specifically to do her class. I also like that the gym is clean and well maintained. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
like the closeness of the Y to our house and the hours. like the availability of machines during the day although you have to plan to avoid the peak times when the machines are full and the parking is difficult. Also, have to recognize that the second floor staff does not do much other than talk and look at their phones. Often the machines do not work, there are no towels in the machines and people over-occupy the machines due to texting, etc. that the staff never addresses. However, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Good variety of programs. People were very friendly.
