I like the different programs and classes offered and all the fun activities.
Staff is readily available and the equipment is well maintained.
Please delete my original evaluation. My original score of 0 was based solely on my disappointment with what I felt was the inflexibility of the guest pass policy. It had nothing to do with anyone affiliated with the Weekly Family YMCA. The young lady who explained the policy to me could not have been nicer. In fact, my sister, Sharon Moore, had gone to the YMCA earlier in the week and had had the policy explained to her. Sharon told me how nice the young lady at the front desk with whom she spoke was to her. In fact, Sharon is going to be surprised that I would write such a negative evaluation and horrified to hear of the negative impact of my 0 evaluation. What I wish I had done was to email Natalie directly. Natalie contacted me yesterday. She said she would reach out to Sharon next week to see if something type of guest policy arrangement could be worked out that did not conflict with the YMCA guest pass policy.
In summary, please delete my previous 0 evaluation.

So many options at this facility for classes, gym, and pool. I like the diversity and wide age range of fellow clients and staff/teachers. I feel really comfortable there.

the E Circuit
The machines need to be numbered so people start in the right place and don't just jump in anywhere which means the person already on the circuit is forced to bypass them or wait until they are done. Instructors are not emphasizing this when they set them up.
Also the early evening floor workers are not paying a lot of attention to their job. This is usually on Sunday's around four or five in the evening..
I enjoy working with the trainer I've been with for several years now.
It's close to home, free parking, and all the equipment I like to use (egym is great)
The kid zone (child watch) is excellent!

During the recent hurricane and subsequent power outages in Houston I was doubly impressed with Weekley Y, the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The vitality of the staff and enthusiastic attitude of the people served there was heartwarming. The cooling station and access to chargers impressed me immeasurably and I will return to that location from time to time because of the welcoming atmosphere. The Community cohesiveness was evident and needed during this stressful time.

Your staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a family environment with people of all ages.
Sometimes I do wish the upstairs were a little cooler in the afternoon and evening.

Everything is well planned and organized. I work out on various equipment and can always ask questions and get help as needed. The classes are well-organized and beneficial. The staff are polite and helpful. I have time to talk with them and often do, along with the other people working out. Anytime I have a need or questions from the front desk all questions are thoroughly answered. The swimming pool is always clean and well monitored with 100% attention from the staff on those at and in the pools. My children, grandchildren and anyone else are attended to almost on a 1.1 basis. I appreciate the staff and all their hard work.

ease of beginning a new class
I wish my group exercise class was mid morning as it was pre pandemic. One o'clock is not a good time. But, this has been raised by many of us in the past and I don't expect a change.
