My son looks forward to his Mathnasium class - it's the only time he has ever enjoyed math! Having to do math homework made him very anxious; he is making more progress and has less anxiety with their model. I appreciate how they update me regularly about his progress, with a clear report and walkthrough of results. Best of all, they are easy to work with: extremely responsive, very pleasant and logical.

My daughter has been excelling in math and enjoys her hour at Mathnasium.

Prior to joining Mathnasium, my daughter was intimidated by Math. It was difficult for her because she did not understand it which made her unwilling to try. Once she joined Mathnasium she went through a full assessment and they found the gaps in her foundational knowledge and built a custom learning plan for her. She attends twice a week and her attitude and confidence with Math has improved dramatically. She looks forward to attending, walks out enthusiastic that she learned something or now understands a new concept. Overall her performance has improved in math class at school and she is more engaged to want to learn what is being taught in class. She now says that Math is her new favorite subject when it used to be her least. She still has a way to go to bridge the gaps in her learning but she has made tremendous progress and we receive monthly reports of what she has accomplished. We will continue on with Mathnasium for all of her future math needs and support. Huge Thank You to the Mathnasium team.

Great place for kids to get their math knowledge. The earlier you start, the better it is for your kids to get a strong base. Your kids will get individual attention from teachers. They have a curriculum they follow for each grade level and make sure to cover all concepts. At the beginning they do a test to find out where your kid stand. This helps them build a learning plan to fit your child’s need. Once these topics are covered, they test your kid again to see how much they have improved in their score. This is a great way, to make sure the kids are thorough in concepts before they move to the next level. They also give rewards to kids that keeps them motivated and interested in wanting to do better each time. Their timings are very flexible and have always accommodated any change requests, we have asked to the slot times in the weekends. I would highly recommend Mathnasium in San Jose, in Curtner Ave. My son has been going there for over 3 years since their first opened up. We are very pleased and plan to continue to send him as long as we can.

Our experience with mathnasium has been wonderful. Our son has grown so much since we started. My daughter absolutely loves Mathnasium of San Jose!! She loves all the teachers and the Director. Like all kids, sometimes she doesn’t look forward to going to her appointment but EVERY TIME she leaves from there, she’s happier, excited from what she’s accomplished and more proud of herself.

My boys go to the San Jose Mathnasium and my 11 and 9 yo actually have fun there. The staff are motivating and they seem to be advancing at a decent pace, certainly faster than at school on during this dreaded online learning environment. Cynthia, the director there, in particular is fabulous.
