The NC YMCA is not quite as up to par as it has been. I understand it is very hard to find staff. But the overall look of the building is not as maintained as it used to be. My husband and I have been members since June of 2013.
People, classes, teachers, cleanliness, convenience, atmosphere.
The Spin class technology needs to be updated - it's frustrating for the instructors as well as the participants when it fails or stops working -- IT SHOULD BE PLUG & PLAY for anything they want to show on the TV, the airplay rarely works well enough to get thru class! Instructors spend before class time getting it set up and hopefully working and not welcoming participants to class and helping new students get set up!! It's unacceptable as it is now and has been for a LONG time!
