Class options
I recently joined with the community base membership. I have only came to Northeast location as of right now. What I love so far about the YMCA is that there is something for everyone. while I am enjoying my Yoga or exercising in the gym, my 7 year old is also having a good time in the kids club. It gives me piece of mind that I am able to take some time for myself and know that he is being well cared for and enjoying himself too while doing crafts or playing in the huge inside tunnel area or on pretty days in the gated outside area.
Friendly and clean
diversity of members. I'm a 73 YO woman in the wellness center, who could in most gyms, feel entirely out of place.
That is not the case at the Y.

I love BodyPump and muscle definition. The Saturday stretch class is the highlight of my week. That class should be offered more often

The openess of the layout. A very clean facility with disinfectant at all machines. This YMCA location is friendly and welcoming.
I like trying the variety of classes offered. It allows me the opportunity to experiment with different types of exercise and depending how I feel, take what works best for my body's needs. The fact that the Y has reciprocity with it's sister branches is a wonderful perk.
