We love the YMCA. My son likes that he gets to swim daily, play at the park and several fun outdoor activities. Field trips every other week are awesome! We hope to attend next summer as well.
This program year has seen a significant improvement. The teams are organized and structured. The kids are kept engaged with structured activities through out the day- minimizing disruptive behaviors. The programming that’s offered is enough to keep the kids engaged with out over stimulating. The staff ratios are great and I appreciate that they are flexible. This year camp has done a great job of informing parents about concerns and documenting incidents. Very pleased with the camp this year. However if there is anything I would suggest it would be opportunities for special and developmental activities; such as a stem, archery, music, or even outside vendors.
I like the weekly communication and staff seem to always be friendly and helpful.
The staff is great with our kiddo. He comes home tired and fulfilled every day!

The love you put into everything you do is truly evident, and it shows in each child’s happiness. I like that I can drop my child off for the summer program and pick her back up with her telling me how much of a wonderful time she had, and to know the security (sign in, sign out) of the ymca is secure.
Welcoming and diverse environment. Camp leaders are great; staff are variable but mostly good.
My child likes to swim so it's great you have swim days. I like the different camp weeks. It gives the kids variety. I like that the kids are fed lunch so I don't have to worry about packing one every morning. I like the camp hours, safety protocols, and flexibility with drop off and pick up. I like the Band App for communicating to parents what the kids are doing, although I haven't seen any photos lately.

I like the fact that my child was very social with other students in camp & they made activities everyday . He really enjoyed being at the camp. He’s never been to a YMCA camp, and we moved from MS in May & it has been the best experience thus far .

My child came home with different activities and crafts daily. For example, he learned about hop scotch and dodge ball and also made slip and a link snake. He had so much fun!
