ZUMBA CLASS AMAZING FUN AND FULL OF ENERGY ❤️🙏
Everything is wonderful! The group classes are high quality, I’ve been to other ymcas (in different states) where the classes were a bit lacking, (it felt as though the instructors were just generic group fitness & didn’t really train for the specific type of class they were teaching) but the instructors at North Park are top notch! I love the welcoming family friendly environment more than anything! The atmosphere is so different then other gyms, I feel it anytime I walk into a YMCA - the community aspect really shines through, everyone doing life together instead of the competitive (or “here to find a date”) type energy I get at other gyms 😆 So sad there isn’t one near my new house. Put a YMCA in the Decatur or Boyd area!! :)
You have a friendly staff. They keep the equipment clean and are quick to repair any disfunction.
The friendly staff, the clean gym with a variety of equipment, the kids programs and childcare are awesome! The Y has such a community feel, and we always look forward to going.

The facilitators of the scheduled classes are in love with what they are teaching or leading. They are friendly and break the ice so that we can all engage. The classes are varied and cater to everyone availability.

I enjoy the Silver Sneakers classes most of all. Along with the close proximity of my home. In addition to the cleanliness of the facility, the people I have met. They are like close friends. The young people attending the desk: Bailey & ?. The exercise instructors; Kelley, Diane, Kathleen, LeeAnn, and the new Tuesday Silver Sneakers instructor.
