Because of racquetball. More YMCA need racquetball. LA Fitness is closing courts many players will be looking for places to play.
The pool for me but I like that the Y is a Christian organization for everyone.
Varied class times so no excuse to not work out.
There is diversity in the scope of exercises available. The people doing their individual jobs do it well with respect for all. This is a community enterprise and helps people of all ages. The part I dislike is ????? Who are the people on the 4th Floor.???? This group of people are part of the reason this organization works but the regular public using the Y have no idea who they are what their position is or even what they look like.

Lori is a great yoga teacher. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and well maintained.
I use the weight circuit and cardio equipment. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful.
Everything.
Lorie's chair yoga class. Been there for 14 years.
I love how sweet the staff are and that they are very helpful. I love the pool and hot tub have life guards that are always watching over everybody. I love that all ages are welcome and that we become a family of sorts. I love that there is so many different activities to encourage you to stay healthy and active. I love that there is a community shelf and people can help others that are struggling. I love they have scales that can weigh even someone 350 lbs . The Amon Carter downtown ymca is a exceptional place to come to.
I am all about going to classes, because it helps me really exercise. By myself, I am not disciplined. The Body Balance class is so so complete, including warm-up, stretching, strength building and balance. I wish there was one more of these in the week.
The yoga classes are very good. And pickleball is another of my favorite.
There’s something for everyone.
all the basic facilities including swimming pool and spa. Friendly staff and lots of parking space
I have really enjoyed the pool and working out on the machines. I plan on investigating other classes soon.
Good instructors,friendly staff
The facilities are clean, and all staff and instructors are kind. Specifically, our 5-year-old’s swim instructor, Kevin, blew us away. His attitude was amazing every single lesson, and he was able to get all the kiddos to pay attention and be safe in the water while still having a blast. Mr. Kevin is our favorite swim instructor ever!
I like ti all. I was a little annoyed at the truncated hours of the spa but I got over it

I love the body pump class!
The best thing about the downtown Y is the diversity of people - race, gender, social class, jobs, etc. It is one of the few spaces I am in where I get to interact with such a wide group of people.
Convenient, focused, supportive
Friendly staff, personal trainer Kevin, free weights, exercise equipment and the most important thing: the running/walking track.

Like the variety of activities offered. There is something for everyone!
