The staff that is in your home is respectful, helpful, and works well with outside caregivers for shift changes. As always, cost of care is more than anyone would like, but at least you know they do their job well and are great to work with.

It was easy to reach someone at ComForCare. It was good that ComForCare staff understands my needs and tries hard to find a caregiver for me.
I like that there are no minimum hours required for service. They were able to schedule someone at the time we requested and adapt to our needs. The initial meeting with nurse was very professional and dignifying. We have had the same caregiver 6 out of 7 days a week! Crystal has been very conscientious! She is concerned about my father’s dignity and treats him with respect. Not only does she do the physical care we requested but she takes the time to chat with him and his friends. Communication is excellent. People who are willing to do this kind of work have my utmost gratitude and respect.
Availability, going beyond what is needed
We've had several wemon here to take care of me. They all seem to like being here and they all want to do what needs to be done.
We have appreciated the focus on developing a schedule for our son with caregivers that fit his particular circumstances. The team has been both responsive and realistic in setting expectations for us.

Our care/respite worker, Sarai, is absolutely phenomenal. She is flexible, communicative, professional, on-time, takes initiative, and so is kind, gentle, and caring with our (non-verbal) son. She is truly a grounded, reliable, and wonderful human being and we feel very grateful that she is in our lives. In a field where this is so much turnover, it's been so encouraging to have a consistant support for our son- who is familiar with him, understands his likes/dislikes, understands how he communicates (and can infer what he's wanting or trying to tell her), and treats him with care and respect. We are so grateful to ComForCare for hiring such an incredible individual.

ComforCare is thoroughly versed in the issues I face with my very elderly parent, now that she requires a different level of care. They understand not only the obvious things you'd expect from a caregiving service, they understand the intricacies and complexities of relationships, which is hugely helpful for me, as her only living relative in charge of her affairs. Sometimes I've felt so alone. This confidence I have with ComforCare allows me to step away, trusting that things will go as smoothly as possible. Although my mother is very particular about everything, and has had other caregivers who she's liked, now that she needs more care, I can see that she truly values what the ComforCare team does for her. I wish I'd found them sooner!
