It took quite a while to find a fit for us. The first person was used to looking after dementia patients and did what she thought was right, in spite of what we asked her to do. She didn't use common sense. I had her get rid of a dead plant on the deck and scatter the dirt on the lawn. The next week I asked her to water the deck plants, and she watered the empty pot! Several others came and went. We now have a wonderful woman who does exactly what we ask of her.

From the manager to the office staff to the caregiver, they are all always friendly, handle any challenge immediately, get invoices to LTC on time, and in general, handle all aspects of caregiving in a professional but very caring way.

Consistency of same Caregiver. The fact that she can drive me to appts. She helps me hear and understand outside Wind Crest helpers who come to the door. Companionship. keeping my calendar, reminding me of appts. Helping me with menus on line. Helping me with exercises at kitchen sink that Dr. wants me to do with someone watching. etc.

From the beginning, having everything explained by Mike, we liked the owner-manager finding time to visit us and explain the process of LTC with our UNUM LTC plan. Then we began the regular visits of our caregiver, Darlene Grossman, and have been greatly impressed. She quickly got to know us, our needs, and when she arrives, she asks specific needs for that day, and then picks up and works quickly through those, and ends with doing brain games activity books with husband Charlie, which he needs for his memory loss/cognitive issues, but also enjoys. She's like our family now and we look forward to her visits as so much gets accomplished that is helpful to both of us. Your office staff is also so friendly and helpful -- always getting right on an issue if we have one -- and in a knowledgeable and friendly fashion. We are very pleased with Com for Care. [FIRST NAME REMOVED] and Sondra [LAST NAME REMOVED] We would, however, appreciate our name being used to promote your company; it always ends in too many contacts for other things.

Everything, from the personnel to the service -- everyone does their job and does it well with kindness and compassion - always available to answer questions, fill in for an absentee caregiver, and do any task that contributes to our well-being. I have two very good caregivers covering 4 days a week whom I really enjoy having. Other 3 days are hit and miss and can leave me very upset.
