My son shows a lot of improvement since he started attending Huntington. He is more focus and motivated. He is more responsible by doing his school and prioritizing this. His grades have improved. We're happy with the services he is getting.
My son has grown so much over the past year. Before starting at Huntington, he the lacked confidence to take on any academic task. Over time, his sessions at Huntington helped him build both skills and his confidence. It is simply amazing to see his growth over time. His negative feelings about school are gone and he feels really good about who he is as a learner. I could not be more grateful for the support Huntington has offered.
Staff members are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about school curriculum, how to help my student to handle any subject, with a very elaborate plan, and techniques to build student confidence. Thank you for the great work that you do.

We were really at a loss as to how to support our 9 year old son when we discovered Huntington Learning Center. We knew our son was bright, but he was disengaged from 5th grade, had little confidence in himself, and did not take coaching from my or my husband well. He often complained about going to school and was difficult to prod out of bed in the morning. We had worked with the school as best we could to get support for him, but we found that it just wasn't enough. Reluctantly, we engaged in the assessment process at Huntington and I was skeptical about the program from the outset.
I am so happy to share that I was so very wrong! My son tentatively agreed to go to 2 2-hour sessions per week in which he worked 1:1 and within a small group of students to address holes in his reading and math skills. The program met him where he was in his skill development so from day one he felt very successful. Slowly, over time, he mastered more and more concepts by taking one small step at a time. Our family paired this progress with family celebrations after he met hour completion milestones.
My son has had a great sixth grade year and I largely credit that success to the work he's done with the teachers and program at Huntington. He no longer languishes in bed in the morning. While school is not his favorite thing in the world, he does not complain about going. He engages in his classes, completes his work during the school day, and has been incredibly successful grade-wise. He is so much more confident--willing to take risks, to admit when he doesn't know something, and to simply try! This was one of the very best investments we have made in his growth and development.
My sons experience at Huntington has been exactly what we hoped for. He is a third grader who had lost the love of learning during covid. Huntington helped him to regain the confidence and skills to go from behind grade level to above! He now loves school again and believes in his ability to learn.
