Your prevention of diabetes is terrific! My 41 year old son was found to be prediabetic 1 1/2 years ago. I looked in the Tulsa area for a diabetes prevention program for him like the one Molly Miller is currently facilitating, but could not find one. At that initial time of his prediabetic diagnosis, my son's doctor ordered a 1 hour diabetes program through Saint Francis Health System. The insurance refused to pay for it because my son had not developed diabetes. Our family paid for it, but it was not helpful because it lasted for about 45 minutes with no followup.
Miss Miller is fabulous! She puts so much work into the program and she is an exccellent teacher. My son has been in the program for only three weeks and has already lost 5 lbs from his beginning weight at the time the program started. I am so very grateful that this program is 1 year long, so my son can learn to keep the weight off.
It has something for everyone. It accommodates all age groups.

I enjoy the workout classes and the pool.
We enjoy the pool and gymnasium. My kiddo loves basketball and it’s nice to have an indoor space where he can play and meet other people. We haven’t enrolled in anything yet but plan to in the future. The staff are great too and we always look forward to seeing them.

I’m a swimmer and have used Hutcherson Y whenever my neighborhood Y pool here in Owasso is closed. The Hutch staff are great and always Miss Diane at the front desk always makes me feel very welcome. And the pool is terrific! Temperature is maintained very well and that’s important to older swimmers like myself(76) who are a bit more temperature sensitive. Sadly, it’s a 13+ mile drive for me to get there and today’s gas prices don’t help! Trust me, though, whenever Owasso Y is closed, Hutch is my “go to” pool!

The programs held there along with the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful to every aspect of what they do, the equipment is up to date and laid out in a nice format

I love it all my instructor Leslie is awesome l would not go if it wasn't for her, she encourages everyone and give me a very good work out.
