What do you like about our programs and activities ?

The Y is my outlet to go to to keep my body in shape & enjoy my friends while I'm doing it. I enjoy all the instructors because they are all very well trained in what they do and they give us all they have to work with us & that is my number 1 priority, to get the best workout while I am there! There are many programs and classes to choose from & it has a very wide variety of machines to work as well! I am so glad to have this YMCA in our community!

I love the instructors at Hutch. They make working out fu, and are extremely knowledgable. I look forward to coming to classes!

There are some serious guys up there lifting each afternoon.like Larry Lyles, who will honestly help you achieve your strength goals if you are willing to suffer through the hard work it takes to get there.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

I love the pool and water aerobics classes. What I don’t like is that the pool is not opened all day like the other YMCA’s.

The Hutcherson Y is not on the same level as the other Y’s and someone should be our advocate so that we can be provided with equal services as the other Y’s.

THE POOL SHOULD NOT BE CLOSED FROM 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

What do you like about our programs and activities ?

I love the aerobic swim instructor @ the 6-7 class. She's there mostly all week, except Friday. I LOVE HER. She has variety in her class and so much energy. Whenever I go I try to pull people who are just chillin on the other side of the pool to come to our side and work out at their own leisure.

I also love Karina and Erika Chung. They are swim teachers and they obviously care so much about their students and love what they do.

I also like the staff. They are so friendly.

So I am a Latinx woman who lives in Kendell Whittier. I find it important that I take my son somewhere where there is alot of diversity of people so he can grow up more tolerant and inclusive.I love the staff and the daycare workers have treated by son Benjamin so well! I definitely recommend this place.

I love the clean facilities and the friendly people! Even in the early morning hours everyone gives you a warm greeting and a smile.

I don't really take classes there, I'm more of a swimmer, but every time I see an activities coordinator or instructor, they are really kind and seem interested in how my experience is going and how they can make things better

I like the hours of operation. The program offers cardio exercises in the early morning hours, the afternoon and evening hours. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The STAFF are wonderful an amazing. all of the groups i have ever attended have passionate caring staff that energized and motivate and love their participates. truly a caring group of people, i do not feel this at other Ys. Thank you Hutcherson Y!
