The YMCA offers a large variety of exercise classes for all levels. There's a great a good weight room from exercise bikes, weight machines, etc. A lot of activities for children. And most of all everyone is helpful and polite.
Very pleasant smiles and encouraging greetings. The teachers and programs.
The family splash time is excllent!! It's great that we can just have some unstructured play time in the water. Also, my son got to do a science experiment the other night which he loved and is still talking about!!

I love everything about the Water activities We had A sub Anita in shallow water exercise yesterday that was one of the best workouts I've had in a loooooooooong time. Anita should have her own Water Boot camp or some program her energy & Skill is much needed and appreciated !!!!

powel crosley has a lot of group exercise classes. I attend jeff's yoga on tuesdays (it makes other yoga classes fell boring) and judy's pilates (a great full body workout), when, my work schedule allows, on thursdays. PC is the only cincinnati ymca to offer kettle bell. I go to bridget's class on thursdays and ann's/jen's class on saturdays. to my knowledge, kettle bell is the only non-machine, aerobic, low impact, group class offered by the cincinnati ymca and it is taught by a great group of instructors.
all of the instructors mentioned above vary their classes to keep things interesting week after week. also, i am 62 and i really appreciate that they all support my need to modify some moves to protect my older joints.
fyi: i live in mt. lookout and drive 30-45 minutes to PC three times each week because of these classes and the people who teach them.

The pools are great. The yoga is is also wonderful.
