The communication is great! The programs are very well run and our son enjoys participating.
The communication has been top tier. The director Derek is always somewhere to be found & even may be in a ref uniform. He takes the time to know the kids names. He speaks to the parents hands out paperwork & communicate in person & email very well! I took a risk bringing my son here as we have a member ship through the greater miami valley. So i had to pay the full price of $165 i think for him to play here vs the typical 20-40 bucks at the Fairfield & hamilton y. We had such a horrible experience at those 2 locations for 4 seasons straight which is what brought us here & i couldn’t be happier with the blue ash location!
Outstanding and dedicated sports coordinator (Derek Mast) who teaches kids skills, sportsmanship and rules of games in an extremely positive manner. Appropriately sized fields and courts for ages, fair price. I highly recommend Blue Ash Y sports to friends and family.

1. Overall, superb facilities and service. Could hardly be better. Honored to be a member.
2. Great handball courts. Best in town. HOWEVER, we 30+ handball players have never known the courts to have been swept or mopped by the Y. We donated our time, supplies, labor, and funds to refinish the courts completely this summer and now expect the Y to keep them clean. We have to wet-mop and sweep the courts every M, W, and F when we play.
3. During swim meets, the courts are used for storage of kids' stuff. We need at least 1 court to be available every M, W, and F. Such items can be stored in the sitting areas outside of the courts. Please label at least one court for handball during those times.
4. Please consider making a functioning phone available in the handball court area. Such would be useful in case of cardiac arrest. An AED is not readily available, so, a telephone could serve someone well in a medical emergency.

The referees you have for Youth Basketball are unparalelled. So kind, so helpful, so engaged. Thank you - because of the YMCA my little guy loves basketball!!
Great place to work out and a great place for families. Our grandchildren take swim lessons there as well and I'm very pleased with their progress.
